Our dogs have an unheated enclosed back porch to go in and out of during the day and there are very comfy beds out there for them. They are large dogs but are all short haired. We had one of the fleece crate pads laying on top of one of the beds and it's a "dibs first" every time they come back in. Two of the labs are older and I know that they are feeling the cold more severely this winter than they ever have before.The pad is reversible with one denim paw print side and the other side is fleece. We tried the print side first but they all prefer the fleece side. These are thicker than what I purchased before but better to keep them warm. I haven't tried washing them yet but did the older pad and it washed beautifully. I know that even with washing I'll never be able to get all their short hairs out of the fleece but they'll at least be clean. I ordered the 48" size and it perfectly fits even the largest of the labs. The beds are about two inches thick and are holding up quite well. This is something for them for the winter months and I'll wash and store them during the hot summer.Upon receiving the beds I laid them out on the floor and our two cats immediately were on them so I know that they are appealing to cats too. But my cats already have too many areas just for them as it is and this is one time that I'm not going to cave! The workmanship is outstanding on these beds and I'm sure that they'll last for many years.1/17/17I recently purchased my third fleece pet bed because I am so pleased with the quality, thickness and wash ability. We keep these on top of their regular dog beds for extra warmth on their unheated back porch. All three dogs love them and it was always a game of musical chairs to see who would end up on the two I had before. Now they each have one and there is no more sneaking of beds.

Happy dog, happy me!I just went through spending almost a hundred dollars on a dog bed from k9 Ballistics that was horrible quality, and that my dog preferred to sleep beside on the carpet. Pictures speak a thousand words on this replacement! I love that this bed is washable, and that it has great stitching to last. It is very soft and a nice thickness. Not super thick but a good 3 inches of thickness that does not whimp out and really supports. Our new puppy loves lounging on it as well when he is tackling his toys. It is also just a pretty bed. I love the blue and the cute paw prints!My big girl has been passed out for HOURS now, snoring away without a single budge, which is a genuine, true test of doggy comfort.I am so glad to have found a happy bed for her that gives us both what we want! Update! 1AM and my big baby has shifted once, and is dead to the world. YES! YES! YES!!!

I purchased this bed to go inside my pups new crate. It fits perfectly! I like how you can use either side (I went with the darker side to hide hair and dirt), the material is great on either side. And the thickness is also great as well. It's not super thick, but also not on the thin side. It took all of 5 seconds for my dog to walk in her crate and nap once I took it out of the package. Since she was a puppy, my dog has chewed up every bed and bedding we've put in her crate. I'm hoping this doesn't jinx it, but she hasn't laid a tooth on it yet. The only thing I would improve on is having a removable cover for washing. Otherwise it's a great bed for a great price.UPDATE:The day after I posted my review, my pup had to go in for a second surgery on her leg. While she rarely ever pees in her bed, she did that night (probably because she was totally drugged). Ugh... great, new bed full of pee. I washed in on the Sanitation setting and am happy to report it washed and dried great. It lost a little of the "new" softness, like when you wash a new blanket, but it's still soft and the stuffing didn't get all weird and lumpy. So I'm sticking with my original review and highly recommend this bed.

I like that this crate pad is thick and well padded. I also appreciate that it is easily machine washable. It is a bit wide for the crate, but not enough to render it unusable.

Great pet bed my dog's favorite go to when we travel. Easy to wash in the washing machine.

We are minding our daughters shit-zsu dog and he needs his own bed / mat to sit on during the day. So I bought him this one. I was hoping that it would be as plush and soft as it seemed to be in the pictures but I was a little disappointed. It started off looking fairly soft and "padded" but after the first wash the "fluff" never bounced back and it became much more of a mat than a bed.The mat is made of a synthetic fiber and this seems to become more compacted down the more use it gets. The mat seems well made, and it's nice that it is reversible. I just don't know why it is so flat and lifeless after such a short time. I have only washed it in cold water on a gentle cycle and dried it on a low heat setting. The mat is doing an "OK" job for now, but I was hoping for better. Our little dog Rocky is only small, so it isn't like he is squashing the life out of the mat! I think I will be looking around for something with more padding or some filling and just use this as a back up. Nice, but not quite what I was after, and not enough "life" in this mat for the money.
