Workhorse/will last: note on warrenty and hand strength
This is my second nutribullet. I'm going to provide you information for both for context. My first Nutribullet I purchased in 2012. I couldnt tell you the exact model anymore as I gave it away when I purchased my new one. I took this thing everywhere as I traveled for a living and I found making morning smoothies kept me in a solid rhythm. I could easily pack this thing for travel. (It was a tad heavy so I had to be more creative with what else I packed: but worth it.) It worked great. I never really had an issue. (Well, I did, but it's because I was doing the things I shouldn't, the issues were more: I snapped the tabs off my first cup somehow and had to dig them out. I think I had the cup oriented incorrectly. I also sometimes over filled it and it would leak so I had to clean it.) Eventually due to the dirt build up I used YouTube videos to pull it apart and clean everything except the motor as it was out of warrenty. This worked great and it served me well until last year when I decided it seemed the motor was struggling a bit finally. (I work this thing with frozen objects and probably run it longer than I should without pulsing. Don't be me. Just pulse it, it's not hard, I now do this with my new one.) I've given my old one away and it's still chugging away at my friends home. Now. For the version attached to this post. I purchased this last year and it's SO NICE. The oomf of the motor really does the job and my smoothie blending time has been cut in half. Last week my cup got stuck in the device. Per the manufacturer they state this usually happens when people either force or overfill. After 10 years with my prior device I know that I did not do this. It popped/turned off right as I went to disengage, and I was unable to remove the assembly. To say that I was upset was an understatement. Note: This is under the year so I checked some recommendations and attempted a couple of them to get it unstuck, nothing major. Nothing worked. I could tell HOW it was stuck, and had some ideas on how I could release it...but not without voiding the warrenty. So I called. They were super helpful and nice. They did say I should not have tried anything without them, which is fair, I just usually have such a horrendous time with companies that I do basic troubleshooting myself first. 99.9% of the time I'm able to fix things with no damage done(that I know of, of course, but I'm fairly confident in my research skills.). Anyhow. Once we talked through everything and they confirmed my purchase/that it couldn't be fixed they did send me a new one. They did remind me what not to do which was annoying but I'm sure it's just policy. The odds this problem happens outside user error is probably fairly low. I get the feeling people overfill their blenders often. I do know I used new ingredients and there is non zero chance expanded in ways I did not expect during blending effectively causing the outcome of an overfill, but it's hard to know. Definitely underfill if you are using cream/dairy products. Of note: I did have to pay shipping...but $15 bucks is better than 90 and repeat items I don't need to have replaced as I do not use them anyway. I'd be annoyed at paying the shipping but all things considered, it's fine. If it happens again I'll definitely raise a stink. Long story short: these last a long time, warrwnty replacement team is kind and helpful, would buy again. Things to know: -Line up your tabs based on the instructions. (The square tab goes where the arrow is pointing) -Pulse in the beginning even if you don't think you need to, it will save your motor. Which won't necessarily die but.... keep your oomf for when you need it! -Don't over fill. Maybe even underfill a little to account for unexpected expansion. (use the bigger cup!!! -Watch for the stripping in the cap coming loose. When it does start to loosen your definitely want to remove and wash that area fairly regularly. Replacing it properly is annoying and really important. If you struggle with getting it placed: just buy a new blender cap. Should be able to buy OEM here or from Nutribullet directly. Reminder: 3rd party items will void warranties if you use them but there are great replacement parts all over Amazon I used on my original device without issue. -Keep your device clean as recommended. It will absolutely pay for itself in longevity. Final note: if you have difficulty with your fingers/wrists/hands (ie arthritis or older) this device might be difficult to use. You definitely want the cap firmly on, it will tighten while blending and can sometimes be difficult to open. I can recommend silicone grip pads to help especially when there is condensation from cold ingredients. If your fingers work properly curling your fingers over the ridge of the cap helps immeasurably.

THE NUTRIBULLET PRO 900 SUPERB PERSONAL BLENDER
The Personal Blender is used for quick blending of greens which ready to drink in seconds. You must follow the instructions and do not blend over 60 seconds to prolong the functionality of the nutribullet. The value for the money is great. The portable storage is great. The ease of use is great. The functionality is great. Please remember this is a personal blender for small mini food jobs which are quick to prepare. Excellent Personal Blender!

I'm enjoying it.
I like this purchase so far. I haven't had it more than a month or two though. It's powerful enough. I wouldn't purchase one less than 900 Watts though. The power of this one seems to be just about right. It easily chops up carrots, celery, mixed leafy greens, apples, pears, and frozen papaya just fine for me. Using it definitely helps you to eat a wider variety of vegetables and fruit. I think that's why I like about it so much. It is pretty loud but you only use it for a minute anyhow. So far I have not had any problems with it. If it's built well, it should last quite a long time if you use it the way they suggest. If you're into having one of these, you'll probably find that you will get into making different things the longer you own it. I recently made hummus with it which came out good and I plan to do it again. I can see how it would be helpful to prepare soups and tomato sauce as well. Anyhow, if you're thinking about it but are not sure yet, go ahead and order one. Give it a chance. If you purchase one, you might find that you like it just as much as I have. I hope this helps you with your decision.

Good deal
Great product, This is our second one. The bullet lasts as long as you don't allow spillage onto your motor, seal the jars before using. It's functionality is what you would expect from this brand. Good value and blend quality is very good.

Beats Vitamix in ease of use and cleanup
The older I get, the more I want my kitchen appliances to be easy to use and to clean. Although the Vitamix that I had for years is unsurpassed in quality of blending, I tired of how annoying it was to scrape out the contents every time because the blade assembly is fixed to the container. So I finally gave the Vitamix away and got the nutribullet Pro 900. The blade assembly screws on to the container. After blending, I just remove the blade assembly, and then I can immediately drink the smoothie directly from the container if I wish. Cleanup is simple: I unscrew the blade assembly and use the sink faucet sprayer to rinse it thoroughly. Then I just wash the container. In contrast, to clean the Vitamix, even after using the recommended method of filling halfway with warm water, adding a drop of dish soap, and blending for a couple minutes, I sometimes had to try to scrape particles out of the container — carefully, because, again, no way to remove the blade assembly down there at the bottom of the container. The nutribullet blends almost as well as the Vitamix. Taking a minute to cut the fruit, etc., into smaller pieces than with the Vitamix helps. The nutribullet's convenient cleanup is worth the trade-off. To those who complained of leakage from the nutribullet, I'd say you probably didn't screw the blade assembly tightly enough onto the container. The gasket around the inner edge of the blade assembly can withstand a very strong tightening. Use the ridges on the container and on the blade assembly to get a good grip as you twist; rubber gloves can help if needed.

VERY poor quality *UPDATE*
*UPDATE* I received my shipment of replacement parts for the warranty claim. To be clear ... I paid for the shipping of these parts. THEY DID NOT SHIP THE LIDS! THE BLADE ARRIVED WITH A LOOSE SCREW AND ANOTHER SCREW COMPLETELY MISSING!!! THIS NIGHTMARE WILL NEVER END! TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY ... THEY SHIPPED SOMEONE ELSE’S INVOICE IN THE SHIPMENT WITH MY STUFF. Over and over again, they fail in customer service. Save your money and buy a real blender. If this had claimed a 90 day Warranty - that would have made much more sense and saved me all this hassle and headache. -Original review... This product claims to have a 12 month warranty. Kind of. After just 6 months of use, this unit started to fail in many ways. To put things in perspective, I use this unit between 5 and 6 times per week, less than one minute per use. I would consider that normal, if not light, use. Here are the issues... 1. The small tabs on the plastic cups were nearly worn all the way through. Just a few more uses and they will surely break off. Once those tabs break, the cups become useless. 2. The locking tab on the flip lids broke on both lids. Since I only use one a day, I’ve been alternating back and forth. At least until the first one broke. Then I used the second one. Now it broke. Shockingly poor quality. Remember, I’ve only had these for 6 months! 3. The most important failure and the reason I initiated a warranty claim ... The blade unit started to fail. The unit started to smell burnt, make loud noise, and leak lubricant. While talking to nutribullet, this seems to be common, and covered under warranty. Now, the warranty claim process. Holy cow. Literally the worst customer experience I’ve ever had. I initiated the claim via the website and quickly received a very professional response from the company. In that email, they requested information from the unit. I immediately responded answering all questions and providing all information. NO RESPONSE! Ever! After a few days, I called the service line. After nearly an hour on the phone, and providing my credit card information (you heard me right ... I had to pay!) 3 times, they said they would send me replacement components. Really?!? After all that, you are going to charge me for shipping, take 7 -10 days to ship the replacement parts, and I still have a broken unit? Unbelievable. Really unbelievable. Save your hard-earned money. Don’t buy this poor quality product from a business that has such poor customer service. Failed parts happen. Terrible customer service, however, is a clear indicator of a bad company. Steer clear. By the way, I could have purchased the replacement parts directly from Amazon for slightly more money, saved an hour of my life, and had them the next day. (I’m shaking my head in disgust)
