I love this lamp. It sparkles due to the crystals, but doesn't cast out light through the crystals, just illuminates them, which is beautiful. It glows. Unfortunately, the actual "stained glass" is not exactly as described, it doesn't have as much of the tan panes, but the amber-ish light inside is more gold than white light, so it looks ok and casts good, but not bright light. It's easy to assemble and is sturdy with a heavier base than stands flat. It has a push button on/off switch, but I use it plugged into a remote. The lamp shade is a high grade pseudo glass and the crystals are also a high grade glass type plastic. It looks like stained glass without the weight. The metal is also ghigh quality and the details are subtle, but distinctive. I bought a small standing lamp as well as the torchiere. Worth the money and many styles to choose from on the home site.

Lamp is gorgeous and giving off such a warm, inviting glow. The bulb that came with it gives the shade a great amber tone and looks exactly like the main photo in the listing. It's placed in a corner and the up lighting on the walls and ceiling is fabulous. Just what I wanted for the space.My husband was pleasantly surprised how sturdy it was since it had multiple sections on the stem that screw together.The base design is really pretty and much more intricate than I imagined would be on this lamp.I can't imagine being more pleased with this lamp...maybe if it was free ; ) The quality is outstanding for the price I paid. I highly recommend this lamp and I also bought the matching table lamp which is just as great.YHWH Bless You : )

Beautiful! I love the antique look of the stand and the glass is stunning. Easy to assemble, I really appreciated that it came with a lightbulb! The step-on switch to turn it on and off is easy.

I ordered two of these, and I really wanted to love them. The shades are beautiful, and the lamp is heavy and sturdier than I anticipated it being. The foot switch works well and is a nice touch, though I wish it was closer to the base of the lamp. Many of the reviews mention the shades feeling or looking like plastic, but mine didn't at all. Having said that, both of the shades arrived damage. One was crushed on the side, as pictured, so I'll have to return it. The second, upon closer inspection also has two cracked pieces of glass, but I've already thrown away all of the packaging, and it probably won't be noticeable to anyone but me, so I'm just going to keep it. None of the packaging was damaged at all, so they were either damaged initially, or the packaging needs some serious reworking. Overall, I'm pretty bummed about this purchase.
