Great value, works great
First off, if you're not familiar, you have to scratch the surface with a fork or something similar. By roughing it up it increases the surface area and allows the resin to adhere to the bow hair. Super easy to use Quality seems quite good considering the price. It certainly helps the sound considering that it makes better contact with the strings. It's difficult to say though if it improves the tonal qualities of that sound. I got this four pack in which each comes in a plastic case with a lid. I like that the lid offers a little protection. I've seen larger rosins but this size is perfect considering the larger ones take more effort to use evenly i.e. with the bigger ones, you have to rub the bow across the entire surface so that it wears down at the same rate. A nice alternate use for this is soldering though I haven't tested that yet. It does look exactly like my natural rosin flux block, not including the case.

This worked just fine with my violin. They were cheaper than our local music store, and I didn't need to leave my house.

I have ordered this rosin twice now. The rosin is good quality for the price and is cheap too. The only negative thing is that you have to put more rosin on your bow than if you were buying a $10 or $15 dollar rosin, but that can be expected.

This is a great product. I have 2 grandkids in Orchestra. One plays violin and the other viola. They love these. I always buy the 6 packs.

Very small, 1/4 the size of the ones the school uses.
Itty bitty. You can almost cover one with a US quarter. The ones my daughters school use look like the ones pictured here but they are 4x as big. If you are looking for something 1.5 inches x 1 inch then this would suit you fine I guess.

Il ne faut pas oublier de gratter la croûte jaune pour accéder au produit. Autrement l'archet va glisser et le violon ne produira pas de sons.
