Alpine Swiss

First of all, the leather is butter soft and of excellent quality. It looks good, it feels good, heck it even smells good. The zipper is smooth, doesn't stick or have any problems. The size is nice. The pockets and spaces are all perfect. There was one review on here that said that the pockets were too small for credit cards and that it was very difficult to put cards in/out. I only saw that review after I had made my purchase and was awaiting arrival or I might not have gone through with it. When I my wallet arrived I very worriedly put my cards in and found to my dismay that they were indeed very tight to the point where it would be problematic to keep my cards in their slots. However, this product is all leather and leather gives, so I gave it a shot. Within a week, the wallet had adjusted to having cards in the slots and now it cards slide in easily. I am so glad that I gave it a chance! This is a great wallet and I foresee it lasting many years. I'm actually buying a second one of these wallets so that when, eventually, it is time to replace this one, that I have another available... just in case this particular model isn't made anymore. That's how much I like it.

Second Update, Swiss contacted me via reply to my email the next day. They asked for my mailing address and promptly sent out a replacement and emailed a UPS tracking number stating that yes, the wallet I had was sewn incorrectly. It's an awesome wallet regardless..... perhaps I will donate it to someone who could use it. I'll post pics once the replacement arrives to compare the correct zipper location.... Awesome quality wallet... way better than the other "pleather" wallets on Amazon. Buy this one, skip the unnecessary pocket and snap the competitors put inside the wallet... it only makes it bulkier, Swiss left this unnecessary part out of the design... thinner wallet, zippered, secure, sleek, sexy, slim.... this wallet will help you meet your financial goals by keeping your money in one place. LOL I've had several zippered hip pocket purses and this is truly a wallet, not some bulky "Tijuana" looking leather wallet. This is oil tanned and finished. Get this wallet and stop looking. In fact, buy one, then if you like order a second one. 3 or 4 years from now you'll find the second wallet in your desk drawer and it will be like a surprise Christmas. Then donate the old wallet to a homeless shelter, I bet you it will still be in working condition, just well worn.... it's that nice of a wallet... IMHO, then again, what do I know about wallets, I guess Amazon says I'm a top contributor for Pet Supplies! LOL So, IMHO.... Any dog would love to have this wallet, most cats would not as cats are not zipper lovers, they prefer velcro (as we all know). First Update… I was instructed by Amazon to send an email to the customer service department at Swiss and on their site it states that they return emails within a day so I’ll give them a couple days and see what they say but I really like the wallet … it’s well-made … and very much feels like real leather throughout… really nice too … not that oil-tan stuff… this is nice! I especially like that they left off the coin purse inner zipper flap compartment that the other wallet companies include. It only makes it too thick to sit on!!! So its definitely worth the $30…. and I can live with the zipper as is…. so let’s see what they say… (Here is my original review. I gave the wallet 5 stars) In my humble opinion the wallet I received was assembled upside down and here is why: If you look at the two photos, the one photo illustrates how the leather of the wallet is sewn with an intentional indent for the zipper head to rest. However when the zipper is closed the zipper head and the tab stick out of the side of the wallet and hve nowhere to store itself…. and it is kind of uncomfortable in your pocket when sitting. However with the wallet unzipped the head tucks neatly into the space that has been sewn into the wallet for that head to rest and the tab lays flat against the bottom of the wallet very nicely - while its unzipped! The purpose of a zippered wallet is to carry it in your pocket zipped . So, it’s a great wallet, I really like it but I’m gonna ask for an exchange replacement because it just doesn’t make any sense that the spot for the zipper head is only usable when the zipper is open. Id love to hear what the mfg has to say….

Extremely well made, heavy duty zipper. This is the second one we’ve bought. First one the zipper gave out but the wallet had been in use for about 15 years and my husband has a habit of overstuffing his wallets so it lasted a really long time. Feel like it is really worth the money.

It closes well, zippers well, the ID display is good, and there's at least 10 pockets and 2 money sections that can be relied upon. If the pockets behind the three pocket sections are used, this may increase the likelihood of ripping the pocket material, as while much of it is leather, the pockets themselves and the billfold separator are not. It does an excellent job of not allowing a mess to occur from your wallet, even if upside down or dropped.

It’s practical, comfortable to carry in the pocket, and perfect for everyday use. A great choice as a gift or for personal use!

After losing several cards out of a traditional folder wallet, I decided to up my security game with a zippered folding wallet. This thing is well-made from real leather and has a robust zippered closure to lock everything in place. Lots of storage slots and no more lost cards, etc A very practical and good quality wallet.

I bought this as a gift for my son. He has always loved this wallet, the size, & the quality. I love the price for the great quality of the wallet.

Hace ya un par de semanas que compré esta cartera, es un estilo que me gusta mucho. El material se percibe de buena calidad, el cierre es resistente pero muy suave al abrir y cerrar. Respecto a su interior cuenta con los espacios suficientes para identificaciones y las tarjetas bancarias. Me siento muy contento con mi cartera, ya me han preguntado un par de veces sobre ella y sin duda, la recomiendo completamente. Ya veremos como sobrevive al tiempo y el uso, por lo pronto, denle sin miedo y háganse de j q cartera bonita y con mucho estilo.
