If they fit right, they're definitely worth the price.
Wow. I just looked and the price went up to $129. I paid $78 and I thought that was high. But just keep an eye on them, the price fluctuates a lot.I really want to help people decide whether to get these jeans or not. I pore over the reviews first, and at this price, as much info as possible helps. :)Here goes... I'm 5'7" about 135 lbs. with a long torso and a thick waist. I literally have no bum, thanks to a recent surgery, so I pretty much live in leggings with long shirts. I used to live in jeans (Calvin Klein-always fit perfect) and now the material just hangs there. Bummer! Anyway, a friend told me to try NYDJ as everyone she knows loves them. I decided on the Marilyn, because I like a straight leg. I chose the Lombard shade, because I like a medium shade of blue that has a grayish, acid-washed tint. This shade also has whiskering. I have to say, I LOVE this shade! I ordered a size 8 after reading the company's advice and most of the reviews. They are right. DEFINITELY go down a size from your normal one. I usually wear an 8 or 10. I thought about going down to a 6, and if I wanted them tight and form-fitting, I probably could have, but I like my clothes loose-fitting. That being said, the 8 was a little more loose than I like. I almost needed a belt, which with my thick waist, I almost never do. The fabric is a thicker, heavier jean material than I like. They also are kind of stiff. They probably would get softer with washing and wear. I don't think they would shrink, even putting them in the dryer, due to the stretch of the material. The length was just a tad long, probably a 32", but I was barefoot. They probably would be fine with a small heel. I have to admit I really liked them. They checked off all the boxes.EXCEPT... remember my lack of bum to fill it out. I SO wanted them to work. But realistically, at that price, I just couldn't keep them. I'm probably stuck with leggings and long shirts for the rest of my life.SO... if you can get past the price, I think most women would love these. The fit is flattering to most figures. They're casual, yet you could easily add a nice blouse and heels or boots, to dress them up. Don't forget these are straight-leg, not skinny or bootcut. There are a lot of shades/washes to choose from. AND DEFINITELY SIZE DOWN!I hope this review can help you make up your mind. Cheers!

Great jeans
They fit great and they feel very comfortable. They were a little bit long so I had to hem them. Otherwise, I love them.

Definitely order down a size!
I am 5’6 and weigh about 175. Curvy in the hips. I’m usually a size 12 but I went with other people’s suggestions and ordered a size 10. I’m glad I did. They fit well and not tight or short. They’re nice jeans, good quality but I feel it lacks any of the body shaping.

Most of my jeans are from NYDJ.
NYDJ is a brand you won’t be disappointed. I was introduced to NYDJ from a salesperson at Lord and Taylor’s 25 years ago and I haven’t looked back. They keep with the times and so do I: wide leg, straight, skinny, bootcut, etc.. They fit nice and you will look good in them. It’s worth the price.

What is with these pockets?
I love NYDJ jeans and have worn them for years. They're super comfortable, shape flattering, and hold up very well. I was ready for a new pair and ordered these without a second thought. When they arrived I tried them on right away, they fit perfectly and I put them away. I finally decided to wear them yesterday and when I put them on, once again I was very pleased with the fit. However, for the first time I put my hands in my front pockets. Or, at least I tried to put my hands in my front pockets. They are so tiny that a tube of lipstick would not fit in there. What the heck were they thinking when they designed this particular style? I should add these are regular full length jeans, nothing fancy, not capris or leggings, etc. Unfortunately for me, I was so used to getting these jeans and loving them I never thought to try the pockets. By the time I decided to actually wear them I missed my return window by about two weeks (my last day to return them was March 14). So now I am stuck with jeans that I can't even stuff a tissue into the front pocket. I'm sure I'll persevere and there are certainly worse things that could happen to a person, but it's just another annoyance to put up with when you expect better.

Really size down!!!
Really size down!!! I wear a 14. I ordered a 12 without believing they would fit...and they do! And they look really good on me! For reference, I am 5'9, 200lbs. I love these jeans!

Buyer beware!
This is not a NYDJ product and is a scam. I have bought at least 20 pairs of NYDJ jeans over the past 10 years, most in the Marilyn Straight cut jean style (size 8 in this style is a perfect fit for me), all are great quality, and all have between 2-4 labels/tags sewn into them. Normally, I buy them direct from the NYDJ website or department/clothing stores. I wanted to get a new pair for an upcoming trip and since Prime shipping would get to me quickly - and they were a good deal (probably should have been a clue), I decided to order these. It was a mistake. The jeans I received have none of the NYDJ labels/tags, are extremely poor-quality, and are very short/poor fitting --- having a lot of experience with this brand and style, what I received is absolutely not a pair of NYDJ jeans.
