THE "ADJUSTABLE SPORTHOOKS" WILL BREAK, BUT THE SOUND IS EXCELLENT.
If you plan to rely on "Adjustable SportHooks", don't buy the "Monster Turbine Pearl High-Performance In-Ear Speakers". The hooks will break. The sound quality is excellent; you won't be disappointed. If you choose tips that fit well, the sound isolation is very effective. The weak point is the "Adjustable SportHooks". Their design is very fragile. Mine broke the very first day. Other reviewers have reported the same issue.I still love the "Monster Turbine Pearl High-Performance In-Ear Speakers" for listening situations where ear hooks are not needed. Sound-wise these are my favorite ear buds, and I own a number of excellent "Ultimate Ears".If you will need sport hooks, buy the "Monster iSport Intensity In-Ear Headphones" (which I own also). Their ear hooks will not break. The sound isolation is not perfect, but for jogging, perfect sound isolation is probably not safe.P. S. I use the "Monster Turbine Pearl High-Performance In-Ear Speakers" with the Blackberry 9930, and the volume-up, volume-down, pause, and play controls interface properly.

GREAT earbuds!
I am a bit of a snob when it comes to headphones; my first expensive pair of buds were some Shure e4c's. My most recent wre some Ultimate Ears Triple fi 10's, which are amazing. I remembered when the first Monster Turbines came out they got great reviews, so I decided to try these. Now I use them more than my UE's; they feel moe durable and sound narly as good. They are well worth the price. And if you are thinking of getting something like klipsch s4's (I own a pair too) you just pony up a little bit to get a premium bud. Also I do not find them feminine llooking at all, they just look like white earbuds (though the actual earbuds are weighty and awesome).

Good Sound Quality
Edit* product broke after 2 months with left ear seems faded. Spoke to monster about warranty and the process is to send to golland at my own expense. Will take 6 weeks. I wont bother but i will never pay this much for a monster product. Very expensive for something that wont last. Highly dissapointed as first and last monster product.Service/DeliveryThe product arrived after 3 weeks, considering the shipping to the United Kingdom I did expect a lengthy time for the product to arrive but may be not nearly a month. On arrival I received a faulty set of headphones. The sound was fading and the left ear had no sound coming through at times. This issue was intermittent but nevertheless I had to return the product at the cost of £17.50 (about $24). Again I was not happy about that but assumed I would possibly get a refund for the cost, which I did.......£3.00......LOL, I mean really??? If I knew that was the refund for returns I would tell Amazon to keep it and buy a coffee on me. ...lol. As an initial reaction and due to the frustration I was going to ask for a full refund. But then thought it's not exactly Amazons fault, how are they possibly meant to know that a sealed product is faulty. Therefore I asked for an exchange.Package 2 was sent out straight away and again arrived after 2 weeks. The product came well packaged this time and also after opening it and trying the headphones all seemed well. Now I'm no expert and neither do I need any backlash from fan boys, the following will be a review of MY OWN OPINION of the headphones. You may or may not agree and that is fine but this is from my experiences which I would like to share with others.**These are compatible with the iPhone/iPad and if to be used with any android device you will hear the sound as normal but lose some of the functionality on the inline remote/mic. (ONLY PLAY/PAUSE WORK for me on Samsung S3). But I did the tests below on my IPod.Comfort/Build QualityThese headphones come with a lot of ear tips therefore it's a must that you go through all of them to find the right ones for your ears. It will make all the difference in sound and comfort and therefore I do stress that if any of these do not fit or sound great then change them for Sony Hybrid ear tips which are pretty decent. For me though the comfort was not amazing with the standard ear tips. Although they stay in my ears, moving my head to one side or the other would often misplace them and they would start to sound different. Only after some fiddling around would I get the sound to remain constant at the level I was listening too. But do not let that put you off as not everyone has the same ear size or shape so these may be very comfortable for your ears than they were for mine. The overall build quality is very good. They do not seem like they will easily break. However, the Turbine Pearl model comes with an In-line remote which seems very flimsy indeed. If you are the type to throw your headphones around then you may end up breaking the Mic/remote faster than others. Also the cables are not tangle free; you often find these tangled up but not as bad as standard cheap ear phones. Nevertheless, tangle free is not the best way to describe these so beware. Also I would like to add, that if you are amongst those that leave your headphones connected to your device then these are not for you. The reason I say this is because even the slightest press against the mic would turn your music player on. So if these are in your pocket, bag, desk and your headphones are inserted into the earphone jack it will automatically switch the device on and consume your battery. So my advice is to detach the earphones from your iPod when not in use.COMFORT: 7/10BUILD: 6/10 (due to faulty pair)SOUNDThe sound quality is not bad on these. The bass goes very low and you can hear the drops on RnB and Dubstep tracks. It can be punchy and the bass is well refined to the extent it is very clear and does not distort even on high volume. I was very impressed with the bass levels on these earphones as if you are coming from slightly cheaper earphones like the standard ear pods then you will sure love these. However, if you have owned better quality headphones then you may not be that impressed. I won't say you will be disappointed but you will definitely expect more, especially if you own Beats by dre line of products. The sound quality will mainly depend on the quality of your audio collection. If you have rubbish quality mp3's that were copied from YouTube then you shall not be very impressed. These do not enhance the sound, in fact the quite opposite as the sound is very detailed and therefore bad quality songs will be noticed straight away. If you have lossless quality songs or those that are 192-320kbps will sound amazing on these headphones as far as bass is concerned. The vocals take a slight back seat on these earphones. The bass does not bleed into the mids or highs but the Mids (vocal) could have been better. The female voices sound good but seem held back in comparison to high end IEMS like the Turbine Coppers or Ultimate ears for example. This is no way a deal breaker though as these are rather aimed at those people that are throwing away their cheap headphones for slightly better quality ones and this headphones to the job nicely in that aspect. The highs are also quite good and you can hear the tweeters very clearly in songs that use such instruments well. The sound is well separated and you can hear the lows, mids and highs very clearly without having to adjust the equalizer. However, I would recommend going through the equalizer to find that sound that best suits you.Overall the sound quality is very impressive on these although not the best. I shall continue hearing them and have burned them in with pink noise as recommended and also playing them at high volumes. These earphones can get very loud and the sound quality can be amazing but again it depends on the quality of the track your listening too or what setting you have on your EQ. Personally though I prefer my Sound Magic E10 as I got these for £30, and for the price they seem to blow a lot of mid to high range earphones out of the water. I mean the sound quality is so good I cannot stop listening to them. This is the main reason I'm slightly disappointed in the Turbines. For the price I paid I kind of expected more, although the quality is very good but in comparison to £30 earphones like Sound magic they should have been better. I paid £88, which is about $109 dollars. I would say these headphones are worth it if you're paying around the $80-$90 mark. For UK users I would say these are worth around £60-£70 and if you can get them for that price then do not hesitate as these are very good earphones overall. My own niggles are due to the price I paid for them, but the sound quality could have also been better. May be I prefer those headphones that have enhanced sound signatures as for the money I can enjoy the songs I prefer like RnB, Hip-Hop, Dubstep. But that does not mean I do not enjoy good sound.Overall I would like to say do not judge these earphones from the moment you open the box. They are not meant to be amazing from the moment you start listening to them. These types of headphones require burning in and therefore you will need to play hours of music before the sound changes. But when the sound does change you will see the difference like night is from day. It will change your experience altogether.SOUND: 7/10Overall rating including my experience would be 7/10To sum it up+Sound quality is solid and the bass can go very low till your ear drums shake without distortionThe mids and highs are very crisp and clear and you can hear everything that you missed on rubbish earphones.Well packaged and comes with both foam and super tips as well as normal ear budsWell designed in regards to cable jack as well as length of cableAmazon sent a replacement out straight away without further questions2 Carrying casesSound isolation- You will not hear others and even if you turned the music up to 75% others will not hear your music on a bus/train journey home.-Fit issues (user dependent) - often leading to poor seal and diminished sound qualityEar buds are slightly heavier than other in-ears due to metal housingThe cable can get tangled at times which can be annoyingFlimsy Control-Talk remoteSound quality should have been slightly better than Sound Magic E10 considering I paid £88 for them.At first they may sound muffled or muddy bass but you have to Burn them in (at least 100 hours). This will change the sound quality drastically but wait time for burning them is long. The first set was faulty with left ear piece not working properly or sound seemed it kept on fading away. This can be a worry if you paying a lot of money for quality.***Took a star away due to paying £17.50 to return faulty earphones and only getting a refund of £3.00Took half a star for the overall delay in using these earphones due to recieveing a faulty pair after waiting 3 weeks!!Took half a star as expected these to be much better that sound magic E10, however they are only slighter better in terms of Mids (vocals) and Loudness.

Monster Pearls
I'm glad I took the negative review lightly. They do have to be kept in their case to last a long time, because they are delicate. They are worth the time and effort though, because the sound is wonderful. If you like to listen to music, they are worth every penny. There are crisp, clear highs, and the bass is solid. I recommend them highly.

Great sound quality. Good luck with the million rubber tips they provide.
Great quality sound but even out of the 100 different sets of rubber tips that they provide, I still can't find one set that fits my ears perfectly.Memory foam tips are a joke because if you smash them down to fit in your ear, then you need to hold them there for 5 minutes while they expand again to your ear size.

Sounded nice...but broke...and heavy
When I got these, I liked the sound. Probably the best in ear I've used. But they are heavy and kept getting pulled out of my ears. I prefer lighter options. And after 9 months they died in one ear. Since I didn't love them, I never got them replaced. But they are good and might be perfect for many people.

Best headphones I've ever owned
Quite simply the best headphones I've ever owned. I'm no stranger to more expensive headphones, as I have also owned a pair of iBeats (back when Monster still owned Beats) and a pair of Meze 11 Classics.I didn't really enjoy the iBeats because the emphasis on bass and the fact that it was marketed primarily as a status symbol led to mediocre sound quality, but that is not a problem at all with these Turbines. It has a relatively smooth sound curve throughout and makes everything sound fantastic. I use them for watching videos and movies, listening to music, and playing video games, and they always sound great.

i like. the bass is intoxicating. take care not not throw away the differently shaped/sized earbuds before you try them all. the ones that fit me best were the ones i least thought would do.
