Koch Industries A20321 Dog Chain Tie Out for Large Size Dogs, 15 ft

The chain is a good chain and I would have given five stars except the clasp on the end worked itself loose and my dog got away. Once we caught him and got him back in the house, I screwed the clasp back together and it was all good. Things could have turned out badly but the story had a happy ending.

I got the chain, hooked my pitbull to it and while watering it dawned on me that in a review I read that the quick link came unscrewed. So, I checked and sure enough, my dog was not secured. Then I tightened it and it came unscrewed again. I took him to the front yard and hooked him on the chain again and again it came unscrewed. My dog hates all animals and that is the reason for the chain. If he got loose and killed someone's pet, I would be liable or maybe this seller would be liable since I'm not the only one with this issue. It's faulty to a dangerous level depending what is used for. The chain itself is very durable.Be extremely careful using this chain with the supplied quick link.

This chain is pretty much exactly what I was looking for. My dog is pretty big, quite strong, and has a habit of being an escape artist. I let him out in the backyard every morning for about 30 minutes to walk around and go to the bathroom, and I had been using those thin cable tie outs for a while but he always broke them within a matter of months. This chain is great, it hasn't rusted, broken, or come loose since I've been using it.

Tired of buying expensive tie out cables for them to be in a tangled mess or broken within weeks. Chains at local pet and hardware stores were equally expensive. Bought these for the price and length and was surprised how well made they are. Def suggest.
