I have folded over 20 pairs of jeans as well if 2 stacks of shorts, and they’re is still some wiggle room. There isn’t any bottom support but we are using our under the bed so it didn’t matter. I have a low full size bed, so I wasn’t sure if they would go if I packed them like I wanted. No problem! I fit everything I needed to in them ( fabrics, notions, patterns) with room to spare. The only reason I gave sturdiness a low mark is because the bags are made from material that is not stiff like vinyl and will not stand up on their own, but they are, after all, made to store clothing and such, not tools and equipment. They are perfect for my storage needs. Plus, there is a small, clear vinyl window on the front of the bag to easily identify what is in the bag.
