The Art of Death Stranding

Absolutely beautiful book. It is a very hard one to find in English so don't miss your chance. So much so that when I took it to Troy Baker to sign at a con, he took the time to flip through it because he had never seen it before. It is made with so much care. Every page is a work of art and I say this as an artist and game developer myself. I own a good amount of game art books and this one does a good job of showing you not only concept art and lore but the developing process and models as well. Great job!!!

The answer is, yes! This is a stunning collection of concept and final artwork for the entire game. If you own the games directors cut, some designs in the book will look very familiar as well. High detailed imagery on solid stock paper. Gilded edges also adorn the book when closed, very chiral in aesthetic. The overall size of the book took me by surprise as well. All in all this is a must own for both fans of the game and those who appreciate art as well!

The book came in good condition, I think there was only a little crumpling on the spine at the top corner on the outer cover, but it's not going to break my heart. The pages are lined with gold, so be aware that the pages may stick a little but just gently work them apart. The whole thing is like 200-210 pages of art and it's all absolutely breath taking. Seeing the concepts that didn't make it into the game but were under consideration is interesting, and seeing the true depth of the actual enemies in game is amazing. Definitely worth the money if you're interested in collector/collectible stuff for games.

Came wrapped in protective plastic, and has a dust cover on it as well. The pages are trimmed with gold color so I thought that was pretty cool as well. The art on the pages are amazing too.

Got this as a Christmas present for a close friend who is really into this game. It arrived on time and well-packaged with a protective film. My friend was very excited about it and spent a good bit of our Christmas dinner flipping through it. He particularly noted the gold edge gilding of the pages as a cool detail. He's also mentioned that he's been enjoying reading it a few times since. A good choice as a gift!

Great item. The book arrived earlier than expected and it arrived in perfect conditions. The book is really good in terms of quality and price. The materials which the book is made of feel really good. It features a good size, and weight. The art design is really good starting from the beginning to the end, as well as from the bottom to the top of the book.

Precioso libro, bien presentado con el contenido que todos esperamos. Pero como de costumbre, no hay libro de arte comprado en Amazon que llegue sin tara, parece que tengan una especie de juego interno a ver cuantos libros de arte pueden fastidiar al día. En mi caso, en la esquina izquierda superior, tiene un corte limpio como si le hubieran dado con un cutter o similar, ha dañado la cubierta y la portada debajo de esta.

Si te gusto mucho Death Stranding y eres fanático del arte de Yoji Shinkawa, este es un infaltable dentro de tu colección, es sorprendente el nivel de detalle y las ilustraciones tan magnificas, en verdad muy buen libro de arte. En mi caso solo tuvo un pequeño detalle, trae en el borde de las hojas una pintura amarilla dorada que lo hace ver muy bien, pero que también hace que las hojas se peguen poquito, no es nada grave pero si es muy frecuente encontrar las hojas pegadas y se podría dañar si no se manipula con cuidado.

I love the game and I love the artbook! It was such a cool surprise to see the golden edges of the pages, it looks fantastic! Ofc also the inside of the book is abaolutely stunning, I love to go through the pages again and again. The price is extraordinary low for this amazing quality, I would totally understand if it was twice as high and I would still buy it.
