Bought this set to put around my Pickup truck when doing a glow plug change as it involved a lot of parts removal and a lot of leaning over into the engine bay. There are plastic hooks and built in magnets to allow it to secure around the wings and front end. Fitted my truck ok but may be a bit big for a car but thats in the description advert anyway. It has a soft covering against the bodywork and a waterproof outer which will allow easy clean and runs water off as I have them fitted overnight when it rained, a quick wipe to dry them allowed instant use again. I think the thickness will suit both home use and as a set to take in a mobile mechanics van. Easy fit, easy clean, waterproof, large size to suite pretty much every vehicle for a professional. May be too big for smaller cars.

Overall, good protection for my pride and joy. The magnets seem of little use, the hooks do make up for them and stay secure when using. It’s only me being picky, great product.

Perfect! Did the job of protecting the wings on our immaculate SLK350. As others have said, can flap around in the wind, but not much of a problem, and you get what you paid for. Excellent value!

The magnets are not that strong but the clips work well for holding in position. Good quality backing to protect the paintwork.
