Tab broke on my original lock so I needed this to fix it. Worked perfect!

Did what it said and was an easy replacement for a broken latch. Not sure what else to do other than get philosophical.What do you do when a door closes, you open it again. It's a door. That's what doors do. Unless the latch is broken, in which case you buy this and fix it.

It took a while to figure out how to adjust it, but once I did it worked fine.

Did not fit a kwikset lock. Worked fine after some grinding with a dermal tool.

Replaced my old kwikset door latch, and this fit and worked perfect.

Still searching for a replacement part that will work. Do you have? Latch thickness is very important. 1" does not work. Need 7/8".

I'm so mad at the false advertising of this particular product. It clearly states it comes with both the round and square plates, but that's a blatant lie. Other door hardware that I have worked with in the past let you easily snap off the wrong one and snap on the right one (which I had from the original latch). Not this one. My leatherman blade broke trying to fix their defective product. Now I'm out not just the money for this stupid latch but also the cost of a leatherman. Never buy door hardware from Design House. I never will again.

Worked like a charm to replace the latch in my locking scroll handle for my master bedroom. My original latch didn't have a plate so I did have to borrow some tools to knotch out the plate in my door. But a little YouTube and the right tools it all worked out. Much cheaper then buying a whole new set.

Had to chisel out for the mounting plate it doesn't just push in and can't take the plate off.
