So handy and strong magnet with release!

Strength is good and easy to clean.

This product is absolutely the best thing any ironworker, pipefitter, or steel worker can buy. I don't know how much weight or can hold, but we used it to fit up 2 feet long pieces of angle to structural steel at a 90 degree angle, among other things.Since you can turn it on and off, it's easy to place, turn it on, then place the item you are attaching to it. One of my coworkers uses it to fit up steel by himself and then tack it.

It's really a good piece of equipment.

Magnets are not strong maybe 20lb of holding force

So i bought a bunch of those small red magnets the work for small stuff but still when heat warpage happens they dont hold. This thing does not only that u can vert wuickly square up and tack weld and the on off seitch is great so it does not get full of chips and its pretty strong. The rated 160lbs force is only for straight pulling if u tip it or anything it is much less.Cons: i wish the edges were ground so they were perfectly parallel but there pretty close
