Big Bad Wolf and 1000 Hands make buying this diamond record ...

Lowkey wounded that Japan got 2 bonus tracks and we didn't, but praise the Lord Amazon came in clutch and delivered this masterpiece right to my door in complete perfection. I had to write my will and testament after listening to the first 8 seconds because I KNEW that I was not going to make it through the whole album without being attacked, slayed, snatched completely bald, and left DECEASED. Big Bad Wolf and 1000 Hands make buying this diamond record WORTH. IT. Also, buy it in remembrance of Camila's flawless vocal runs and #neverforget.

Fifth Harmony's best album to date

When the girls first started talking about this album, especially about how it was more vulnerable and real to them, I was excited. I love "Reflection" a lot but minus like 1 or 2 songs it's not very real/vulnerable. Not that there's anything wrong with having an album full of happy songs, I just really wanted to know what they were thinking/feeling more.Anyways, the album starts out with one of their girl-power songs, "That's My Girl" which tells girls that you've been down before and you've gotten up before, so you can get up from this too. A really easy-to-dance-to song that starts out the album on a high note.Other notable tracks include "No Way" which was originally supposed to be on Reflection but didn't end up being there for whatever reason, so the girls fought and fought hard in order to make sure it had a spot on 7/27. And it's not hard to see why they really wanted it. It's a very nice midtempo song with lyrics like "Everyone comes with scars but you can love them away / I told you that I wasn't perfect, you told me the same". Also "Dope" which, from the title I wasn't expecting a song to brag about, but when I listened to the song I was proven wrong. It's very much them being "more vulnerable" like they said, with the song being about how they're trying to find the words to describe how much this person means to them, but not being able to come up with anything good enough so they just go with "I don't know what else to say, but you're pretty dope".Another really vulnerable song is "Scared Of Happy" where, well, the title pretty much says it. They've been through so many romances that ended in nothing but sadness and now that they're in this relationship, where the other person hasn't given them any reason yet to believe they'll turn on them, it's like it's now impossible for them to believe this love won't end in sadness. So they ask themselves "why am I scared of happy?"That's not to say, of course, that there are no upbeat songs on the album. I already talked about "That's My Girl", and I'm pretty sure unless you're living under a rock you've heard "Work From Home" by now. There's also "Not That Kinda Girl" where the girls (and Missy Elliot!) tell off this guy for thinking he can freak them on the first date. A very fun song that I can't not dance to.All in all, it's a good mix of sounds and themes, and it's definitely their best album to date. If you compare this album to their EPs, you can see how much they've grown up already in just these past few years. I'm so proud of them, and I'm sure they'll just keep getting better from here too. :)

Idk what else to say but this album is pretty f***ing dope!

7/27 is a huge step forward from Reflection, the girls' first album. The songs are more mature and more well-produced, and you can really enjoy each one of their five amazing voices. My favorite at the moment is That's My Girl, but Dope, one of the two explicit tracks that you'll find in the album, All In My Head (Flex), the second single, I Lied, and the 9 other tracks I haven't mentioned yet, are also highlights all of them. It's, in conclusion, an incredible sophomore album from the biggest girl group this decade.
