This happened to me when I kept it in a Tarot bag for a couple of weeks. However, it regained its purplish color when I put it back on the window ledge. My main complaint is that this pyramid is very small. I suggest you try other sites to get a bigger one. I also recommend you consider the pink quartz pyramid available here.
