A lifesaver!
Bought this for my husband. He owns a bread sales route (lots of heavy lifting) and just can't take time off for surgery right now. He had been having a lot of swelling and pain, so I bought this hoping it would help. I am a nurse, he rarely listens to me or follows my suggestions, lol, and my husband never likes anything!!! I can tell you he is super happy with this product. I am shocked! He feels no discomfort at all if he wears it. He is miserable if he doesn't. Our goal was to keep him from needing surgery soon. It works so well that I just bought another one today so he doesn't have to wash it as much. He says it was awkward and annoying at first when he had to use the restroom because of the strap to help keep it in place, but he has gotten over that since he feels so much better. It comes with a pad that you have to place over the hernia to help hold it in place. If you are suffering and can't have a surgery right now, this is the product for you. It was true to size, so he wears medium underwear, and the medium belts fits perfect. Good luck!

Very effective to keep inguinal hernia in place
Works good in holding my large left inguinal hernia from popping ouI in daytime only. Since my hernia pops out when I’m standing, walking or working. I use it only during the day time. When in bed at night it doesn’t pop out So I don’t us it then. I’m hopeful that it may keep me from having a surgical repair with mesh, which I read has long term chronic pain. This hernia truss belt , as I wear during the day is not painful and I hardly know I have it on. I do have to be careful not to lift more than 20 lbs. however. In my case , even with this truss on my hernia some times will pop out if I lift heavy objects more than 20 lbs.

Pretty good
Provides adequate support to allow me to do my daily activities. I can even exercise at the gym, including skipping rope and trotting on treadmill. That said, there are a couple of things I don't like. The method of adjusting the strap is a bit awkward, so I don't get the level of precision I want. Sometimes I have more support and can cough without feeling anything, other times there's some jarring sensation when coughing (but it's bearable and still much better than without the belt). Also, the pad can shift around some in its pocket, so enough pressure may not always be applied to the spot you want. I may be experiencing the shifting because I move around a lot and, as I said above, I wear the belt to exercise.Note that my issues with fit may be because I'm at the lower end of the medium size range covered. My hip circumference is 36" while the range is 34"-40". Perhaps a larger person would find the fit more snug and feel better in it.Overall it's a good belt. I just prefer a different design, specifically the type that uses egg-shaped pads that attach with velcro. I find that the egg pads stay fixed in position and apply more pressure to the hernia. Some people like that; others complain that the egg pads are hard and they think it's too much pressure. If that second group sounds like you, then you may be happier with the FlexaMed.

Surprisingly Comfortable
I have a hernia that can't be repaired for a several months. My hernia was hurting me too much during my daily power walk. I wasn't sure that this truss would actually allow me to walk in comfort--it surprised me. It's not hard to put on, and I can keep it on for hours without discomfort. I have never tried it with my normal legless briefs because I was sure I wouldn't like the around-the leg elastic strap touching my skin in my crotch. I bought some Hanes cotton underwear that has a short inseam that protects my skin from the elastic strap. The around-the-hips belt keeps everything in place well. There is a bit of a feeling as I walk that my shorts are falling off, but it's just because the around-the-hips belt rides quite low. This device gave me my life back.I bought a second one.

Seems bigger than advertised
I measured my hips, below the waist as instructed. 38". One review said to order a size larger than measurements. I ordered the L anyway and it was too loose. I had to attach extra velcro so it fit more snug. It is not that comfortable. I can't imagine wearing that all day. It does move around a bit, Doesn't always keep the hernia in, but it may help it from getting worse during exercises. I've had this for just a couple of weeks, so I can't say much else. It just seems pricey for something not that comfy or effective. Saw an exact photo of product on eBay from China for half the price. Makes me wonder if this is being rebranded.

Oh what a relief it is !
Diagnosed with left groin hernia. On my feet all day lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders and bending at the waist. Had a lot of pain while working and would have to keep one hand on area to quite the pain. Ordered this belt until I can get in for surgery. Not only has this belt allowed me to work all day without pain it has kept the area from getting worse. The fit is great and easy to use outside of boxer style briefs. Have found that while wearing pants with a belt causes pressure on damaged area so I use a cheap pair of suspenders hooked to my belt to keep the pants up without having to keep the belt on my pants to tight. With this combination I can work all day without pain. Great product. Hope this review helps someone. Not paid for this honest review.

Strap goes too much to the side rather than up the crack
This is my first truss, so I probably don't know what I'm talking about. But, this design seems wrong in that the crotch strap comes out the back of the crotch, then connects over on the side, almost in the front. This means it wraps tightly around the upper thigh, which pulls the pressure pad to the side away from the hernia. I'm going to have to undo some stitching on the belt and sew the strap on more in the middle of my posterior, or maybe over on the other side. I have another belt arriving tonight, so I'll have something to compare it against.

Works great
Bought this for my dad. He is pre surgery and has a hard time walking with out it. Good for the price. I have bought two now. The first one last six months of daily use and could still be used but very worn now. Still happy with the overall life

Truss works well, is comfortable to wear
I developed an inguinal hernia back in March. In Ontario elective surgery is delayed by COVID and I may have to wait months for this hernia to be repaired. It is serious enough to warrant concern: it has enlarged somewhat since. becoming apparent. I bought this truss hoping I could undertake light and moderate exercise without pain or undue worry. The product exceeded my expectations. While I avoid heavy lifting and have reduced the amount of weight I use for weight training (using wimpy 15 pound dumbbells), I can undertake necessary chores and light exercise comfortably and without feeling I am doing damage. Examples: lifting groceries and luggage; moving and paddling a kayak; planting shrubs in the garden; carrying firewood. Good product. Buy 2 so you have an extra one when doing laundry.

Does the job
Gives great relief from the daily discomfort. Good fit. Stitching a bit poor, so won't last above a few months I believe, maybe that's why now unavailable. Would have ordered again if still available.

Truss seems to do what it's supposed to. A bit expensive, but well made.
