Steady cam
This steady cam works as expected for a low dollar piece of equipment. No frills just simple and straight forward.

Doesn't Work with DSLR
The product description says it works with DSLRs. My Nikon D7000 has an offset tripod mounting hole, the steady cam counter weights are not heavy enough to compensate nor is the adjustable counter weight arm long enough to level the camera. If your DSLR tripod mounting hole is not in the middle of the camera don't bother with this steady cam, it is totally worthless. Beside being very cheaply made, overly priced, it doesn't even work. Don't waste your money, don't even consider this steady cam made of cheap hardware store parts.

Get what you pay for
I ordered this unit for my Canon 7D. I ended up returning it because the Canon 7D was not able to be stabilized on this unit. I think the 7D weighs more than 2 pounds but this was a small footnote in the specifications of this product and this should be made more prominent in the product description . I would not say the product is built on some high-tech robor production line in Germany and it looks like it's built in some Chinese factory - build quality is okay and probably what you can expect to get for the price off hundred and something dollars. The instructions were really a joke single piece of paper with some sentences on and not really describing in detail how to balance this unit. In one of the comments on Amazon a user got a reply from the manufacturer noting the wonderful videos that exist to show how to balance this unit. Well how about getting off your bum and making a video for us Mr manufacturer :) , you have succeeded in wasting my time and my money with this unit and a simple video you could've shot in about an hour would've probably garnished a few more stars from me and a few other people - lazy, lazy lazy ............ The gimble, the part that is the interface between the handle and your camera, seems to be very small and somewhat fragile yet again I'd like to point out this is not a professional units and I wouldn't say trust it on a professional shoot. So in summary thepros=====it's very cheap and yes you get what you pay forIt may even work, but I'd like to see a video :)cons===it's works with nothing but a small camera under 2 poundsit will not work with the 7D or Panasonic HMC 40Gimble is very small - no idea why he couldn't of used something like this - TRAXXAS universal joint - amazon has it for $5So in my opinion I can't really recommend this unit. I like to see others with 5 star reviews actually post some video of their unit in action and then perhaps you'd turn my into a believer.(In all fairness to the manufacturer, If you got Amazon Prime just order it and see for yourself, if you don't like it just send it back for free)

Nice stabilizer for the price
I bought this stabilizer because it was cheaper than other stabilizers of its type and I am not disappointed. I use a Panasonic GH1 for video, and unless I am using the 14-140 lens with built in stabilization, I need some help to keep things steady. It's not perfect. I wish the gimbal had a bit more range of movement and the orange thumb tighteners seem to be pretty light, weak plastic, but I wasn't expecting too much in terms of quality. To be fair, it is a nice, solid unit and looks pretty slick. It comes with three big weights and two small weights. All I am using is two big weights at the bottom and it didn't even take me very long to get everything balanced properly. I kind of wish I had bought the cheaper model than this since I am not using many of the weights, but it is better to have too many weights than not enough, and you never know what the future will bring. Here is a small sample of how this thing works. I was fairly impressed with the results: [...]

(T2, T2i, T3, T3i, 60D or 7D) Video Users. READ!
The hardware itself is an amazing piece of hardware, if you have a light weight camera and just want it for SIMPLE video, i highly recommend it; however....If you're like me, looking for a cheaper version of the expensive one trying to make this into what it really isn't, its NOT it. I have a Canon T2i with a 55-250mm lens and shoot many music videos. I know what this is replicating and know what i need, i just didn't want to spend the money, it does do its job but i need one for extreme stabilizing. It just doesn't make that cut. My camera seems to be way to heavy and it cant take the extreme motions i need it to take on. I watched alot of YouTube vids on these and if you have a Canon DSLR, (T2, T2i, T3, T3i, 60D or 7D) don't waste your time man unless you need it for small usage.Follow me on twitter for more questions @ BryceEWilliamsor contact me vis YouTube... .com/ThatDude2FlyNetworks

Not a stabilizer for budget-conscious hobby film maker
This thing is outdated and finicky at best after balancing. Wind is an enemy, and the product barely supports cameras reaching the weight limit of 2 pounds. Even with the new hard hand grip, improved gimbal, I don't think the Lensse MidPro is worth the trouble for someone on a hobby level film budget. The Lenssee Midpro is insanely unforgiving, and will become unbalanced with use. limited to slow forward, back, side to side panning movements. It does not do well with tilting. For that, the next step up in equipment is a Glidecam, which I now own, and am completely satisfied. The Glidecam is much quicker to balance, once you know how.I appreciated the knowledge I gained during the long months and hours learning how to perfect the use of this device when I had it. Also, I do not recommend tiffen's Steadicam Merlin, or any other similar devices, due to the lack of filming angle capabilities.
