Bed builder approved
We build custom beds in our small hardwood furniture business, and have just changed to this hardware. We tried a lot of hardware before choosing these - they are heavy and strong, well-made, and the fit is very tight and secure. They allow us to break the beds down for shipping, and to provide an easy set-up for our customers.

Perfect for building your own bed
Super easy to use, very sturdy and gets the job done. Definitely agree with the other reviews saying to place the flat piece that goes on the rails about 1/16” back, as opposed to lined up directly on the edge of the rail. This makes a much more sturdy bed frame, and you’ll have to use a spare piece of wood to hammer it in to really get that snug fit, but it well worth it. Used these on a cedar bed, made out of 6x6 posts and 2x12s for the rest. Couldn’t have been easier with these things- just clamp in place and drill. The self-centering drill bit is a must for these too, worth the $5 or so to get perfect holes and make sure everything is aligned. Love having the “set screw” to install at the end as well- very confident that these will last forever and I’d definitely buy them again for my next project!

Stop searching - this hardware is perfect
Without a doubt, these bed frame brackets are worth every penny Super close tolerances (not sloppy after install), very strong material, and an easy install. Agree w/ other installers, a self-centering drill bit is important. I would say if the bed frame material is softwood use longer screws. I used 4/4 red oak, so the 3/4" screws were fine. Thank you for producing a quality product at a reasonable price!

Great Brackets
I ordered three sets of these bracket on the advice of a contractor friend who had used them to build a bed frame. They come with good instructions, are easy to install and are very sturdy. Make sure that the lumber you use for the rails is straight with no twist or you may find it a bit difficult to install the rails on the headboard and footboard. I would definitely buy these bed frame brackets again. Good value.

Heavy but no tolerance.
These brackets are heavy and well made. However there is no tolerance if your boards are even a little warped . They fit tightly. We ended up cutting a wood corner to make bed frame.

Work great!
I built a platform bedframe for my son's college apartment. I am not a professional woodworker and was concerned that I would have a hard time lining these up for installation and they'd never work, but I watched a few u-tubes and installed as directed and they work great providing us the ability to take the bed apart easily and put back together again.

Solid, requires careful installation
Product is solid and well made. Adjusting the tightness of the fit is important and it is key to follow the instructions and not insert all of the screws at first. However, if a very minor adjustment is required, a reinserted screw may be so close to the original hole that a spinner may result. It would then be necessary to vertically reposition BOTH hardware pieces to get adequate screw purchase in fresh wood, which is very inconvenient. In this case it is actually easier to use a larger or longer salvage screw (not supplied) instead of repositioning both hardware pieces, although the manufacturer would probably say not to do that due to strength concerns. In my opinion, if the salvage screw does not spin, it should suffice.

The hardware is very sturdy. The screws are worthless. Shortly after install and assembly the hardware started rocking because the wood got worn out. I had to purchase longer and wider screws to make it more stable. With that said, the item is overpriced with the additional cost incurred and the inconvenience .
