As someone who struggles with writing comfortably due to chronic illness, these pens are amazing. They take all the stress off of my joints and make writing not so bad anymore. I sent one of these pens to another chronic illness friend who also struggles with writing comfortably, and I can't wait until she sees it and gets to try it. The colors are awesome, and while the pen shape takes a little getting used to because it's a very foreign concept, my hand had completely adjusted by the time I finished writing a short letter. These pens are incredible, and are worth every penny that you spend. I have more refills than I know what to do with, because each pen comes with two extra refills, so I know that I won't be needing anything for these for a very long time. If you're doubting whether these live up to the hype, believe me, they warrant every single good thing said about them. They're that good. If you don't believe me, just try one for yourself. It won't take long for you to realize that these pens are game-changers and are some of the coolest things you'll probably ever own.

I encountered these pens about 20 years ago, when a friend gave me a few for my dad. They were of great assistance to him. I recently ordered some of them for a very good friend who has developed severe tremors in her hands. Writing was virtually impossible, requiring a lot of time and still being very hard to read. The pens are a perfect solution! She tried them once, and the difference in her penmanship was amazing. Her penmanship is still somewhat shaky, but clearly legible and much easier and faster for her. I feel confident that with more practice it will improve even more. I am grateful the pens are still available, and she is thrilled to be able to write her checks and sign her name much more clearly! I have recently been diagnosed with inflammatory arthritis, which means a lot of activities have become more difficult and/or painful. Typing gets hard, but handwriting was almost impossible. I just can't effectively grip a pen for any length of time without pain and illegible writing. I wasn't sure these pens would work, but I am hooked. It takes a little getting used to, but I can write a page of notes now without pain and I can actually read it all! The 4-pack is nice so I can keep one in the kitchen, one in my office, and one in my purse, and still have an extra for the one that will inevitably disappear! Great find!

Bought these for my husband who has to write lots of notes for his job. He has nerve issues with his hands and fingers so these make the job easier. He has not had them long enough to really show a difference, but he does like the way they feel and how he can use them easier than grasping a regular ink pen. I believe he will not want to go back to a regular pen again.

My mother experiences a lot of pain and/or numbness due to neuropathy; predominantly in her forearms and hands. Unfortunately, she also has to fill out A LOT of paperwork by hand in her line of work. Her doctor recommended this style of writing utensil for her to try and she just fell in love with it. Since being diagnosed with diabetes last year she has lost the ability to do a lot of things with her hands that it has been difficult for her to adjust to. Losing the ability to write just wasn't an option, however. She absolutely swears by these pens and assures me that they are comfortable and easy to use. I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

They help me write with my dominant hand after a stroke. They're comfortable and very helpful. On the downside: The ink doesn't last nearly as long a I expected, and while they send you two refills, I can't find them sold separately. Additionally, I just wanted black, but they can't be bought individually, only the other colors can from what I've seen. I have no use for the other three; they will end up in a landfill unless I can find someone to take them

I bought a few different pens recommended for people with essential tremors or Parkinson's. This style helped the most. My father cannot use any kind of pen because of tremors, however the ergonomic design of these allows him to at least be able to write short notes -- very helpful so that he can keep a list or write a check which he could not do before. Very appreciative for the innovative design and adaptability. I also appreciate that this comes in a set so we can have more than one.

Pathetic product. Toy Plastic pen. Low grade. Not helping in Parkinson's at all. Fraudulent claims by seller. Deliberately put No return option because seller knows he is defrauding.
