10/10
This product is highly valued for its dual functionality as a moisturizer and broad-spectrum mineral sunscreen, with many users appreciating its lightweight, silky feel that often doubles as a fantastic makeup primer. The "light tint" is generally effective at counteracting the typical white cast of mineral sunscreens, especially for fair to medium skin tones.

My favorite sunscreen of all time
I am on prescription tretinoin hydroquinone for dark spots, fine lines, acne, discoloration, etc. It is extremely important for me to wear sunscreen every single day. I needed a mineral sunscreen due to the prescription cream making my skin very sensitive. I can’t handle chemical sunscreens at this time. I was looking for a mineral sunscreen that wouldn’t leave a white cast, isn’t greasy and wears well under makeup. This sunscreen is something I actually want to put on every morning. I normally dread mineral sunscreen. There is no white cast and it isn’t greasy. It blends out super fast to a smooth finish. It leaves a silky texture that feels like a pore blurring primer. It reminds me of the texture of benefit pore blurring primer. It has a light beige tint that isn’t too dark for my fair skin. The tint blends out sheer. It has just enough tint to cut out that white cast so it doesn’t leave you looking ridiculous. I love that it has water resistance so I don’t need a separate sunscreen for outdoor/water activities. It layers well on top of moisturizer and wears well under makeup. I have NOT found this has pilled up with other products. It layers well on top of itself. The tube is easy to throw in my purse for reapplication. I love that it’s 16% zinc because that’s higher than a lot of zinc sunscreens on the market. The tube is a fairly normal size for face sunscreens. A little goes a long way. Most importantly I like the texture and feeling because I’m very picky. It hasn’t given me acne or caused sensitivity. Just be aware it does feel like a pore blurring primer. If you are ok with that texture then you will probably love this. I do notice it has added moisture in it but I would not use this without a light moisturizer under it, especially in the winter. It certainly doesn’t dry out my skin though, or make me oily! Some zinc sunscreens can really dry out your skin and make you flaky and this did not do that at all. After applying my skin feels supple, not dry. I use a very light weight cetaphil gel moisturizer under it and then apply my usual maybelline liquid foundation on top. I originally had combo skin prior to being on this prescription cream, but now my skin definitely leans more dry. So the last thing I want is to dry my skin out more or cause my oily t zone to overproduce. I’m glad this sunscreen doesn’t cause any of those issues. I purchased this with my own money no paid reviews here. I just love this light weight, easy to blend sunscreen! I only wish they had a jumbo size because although a little goes a long way for my face, I would love a bigger tube for my body too. I only use this on my face and neck because the tube is not large and it’s more expensive than my body sunscreen.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS PRODUCT!
Love, love, love this product! I learned of it when I picked it up as a free sample at my dermatologist’s office. I’ve used it ever since as a sun screen and moisturizer. It makes my face feel soft, protected and just GOOD. It also has a light tint.

A little light
This has a wonderful texture and is great on combo oily skin. I am a natural redhead with green eyes and this is visibly light on me. It might work perfectly on my blonde/blue eyed sister who is a little lighter in tone. It blends in more on my half Indian daughter than it does on my light/neutral skin tone. Don't get me wrong though, this is way way better than when I put on white mineral spf of any name brand. The white stuff shows up like I am a ghost and has been noticed by strangers. For reference the color that works best for me is BM Birch. I just really like that this is less shiny than BM name brand but non drying like BM's oil free option. So the texture of this is way better but the color is a bit too light and shows when I do one area of my face at a time.

Favorite sunscreen for skin allergies
I struggle with a number of skin allergies to common preservatives. This spf is a great daily option for sensitive skin. The tint is fabulous and totally eliminates any white cast from the zinc. The texture is like a silicone makeup primer. It may feel slightly heavy going on, but once applied it dries down to a weightless finish on my skin. I wish the spf were higher, but I love this Cotz option regardless. The biggest con is that it’s pretty expensive for a small amount. Please release a larger bottle in this exact formula, Cotz!

Smooth sunscreen for face that is not greasy
This sunscreen has a smooth, non-oily texture, which can be hard to find in sunscreens. It is not cheap, but a small amount goes a long way on the face; the amount I apply is maybe half of a small pea-size (and that is applying a generous amount). It has a matte finish which may not appeal to everyone, but it is not whitish, like some zinc sunscreens are. You won't look like a ghost or as if you have been using your deep fryer after applying it. It can be worn under foundation or by itself. This sunscreen is 'lightly tinted' which is nice for fair skin. This is an excellent sunscreen for the face, and I recommend it.

Odd Texture and Not Much Tint
I recently learned I am allergic to most sunscreens, and CoTZ was one of the few brands that I was able to find that was safe for me to use. I'm disappointed in the sun protection offered; I'm very fair skinned, so 35 isn't really enough for me, but my options were limited. Pros: - Great for sensitive skin or folks with allergies - Non-greasy Cons: - Weird matte texture; pills so is not good under makeup - Mid-range SPF, and don't have higher SPF available in this formulation (other formulations from this brand contain ingredients I'm allergic to. - Tint is incredibly light; I am fair skinned, and someone darker than me would probably still experience white cast

Great sunscreen and primer
I use only mineral sunscreen and this one is my preferred. It provides great protection and I use it as a primer or by itself, as it gives me a nice coverage, serving as my foundation. I have a slightly olive complection and the color of this sunscreen works for me.
