Rembrandt Oil Colour Tube 40 ml Cobalt blue deep 515 (01055152)

Love that 2 of the colors are top quality Pg7 Phthalo green (blue shade) and Py 110 the yellow I use as my warm yellow (orange/yellow) on a limited palette the Red is similar to alizarin crimson but much more lightfast. Blends well with many colors on a limited palette ( a warm and a cool of red, blue and yellow plus white and black). You can mix it, sure.. but so convenient to have it on hand. Gorgeous color!

Very smooth consistency, easy to work with. Although mixing our own burnt carmine is relatively easy. I find when using said color as a base it is much easier to have the tube readily available

I use it in creating oil paintings. Rembrandt paints are my favorite brand because the colors are more pure and rich and alive than other brands of oil paint. It’s probably a matter of their using a superior binder, or a purer pigment , I don’t know. They’re expensive but well worth the money.

As expected

I like the buttery texture of this paint and the richness of the color. The pigment load is also quite good, ensuring a strong color.
