I mean its a big plastic doll with a simple led circuit ha.

It does as it's supposed to.. unfortunately anything even remotely healthcare related is price gouged so these and many other models could easily price pointed at half the list price and be profitable. Be mindful what/whenever you consider buying if there's any possible updates/mandates down the pike training standard wise which is a part of the planned obsolescence coin.
