Sony PlayStation 4 Pro w/ Accessories, 1TB HDD, CUH-7215B - Jet Black (Renewed)

I picked up this PS4 Pro to replace my OG PS4. It was packed VERY WELL. I also bought a SSD 8 TB drive to put in this new Pro model. I installed the new drive, connected everything, reinstalled the system OS and I am ready to do the file transfer from my PS4 to my newer Pro model. The system and controller work great!

Includes: PlayStation 4 Pro Console, HDMI cable, Power Cable, PS4 Controller with charging cable. The console works perfectly and so does the controller. The controller had some wear marks. The console had worn of bottom feet. (see photos) It's like they were sanding off or something. All of the ports on the console and controller were perfect. Purchased myself a one year subscription to PlayStation Plus. Setup of the console was standard. Plug in all the cables, set up your account. Set up the controller for the first time with the provided USB cable. Then the controller will work as wireless. Downloading games is slow even with a wired connection. Currently I only have around 15 games and the hard drive is starting to fill up. I'll be looking to purchase an external drive soon via a USB 3.0 drive. Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase of a renewed product. Picked this up for a better price than I could find anywhere online. Due to scalpers and the holidays. Be patient and keep checking daily. Maybe I just got lucky. I'd been looking for a few months and finally got this one. My favorite feature with PlayStation is the feedback on the controller or speaker. Just such a nice feature. I picked this console up to play mainly the exclusive library of games that they have. Currently I'm hooked on Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition. This purchase was a better price than buying new or used. So worth it.

I ordered this console the first time and it would not read the controller to allow me to get past the “connect DualShock controller and press ps button” to allow for set up. Controller would not charge so I bought a separate controller and it also would not work. Tried a PS5 controller (with cord) that was purchased brand new and it also did not work. I was able to return 1st console and get a replacement with no issue. I received the replacement within the week and literally the exact same issue. Second console the HDMI cord did not work. I bought a new one and it connected to tv but again, would not get past the same screen despite trying multiple cords and controllers. Hard resets, cleaning, etc. didn’t work and not worth it. I went through Amazon due to no issues with past purchases and reputation. I thought this was the guaranteed options vs buying from GameStop or FB Marketplace. I am not able to get a second replacement even if the replacement was also broke. Overall, very frustrating experience and an extremely disappointed child who had been saving his money to buy a PS4 because “apparently” Fortnite is way easier on the PS4 vs the Nintendo Switch. 🙄

I was really surprised that I had gotten a white PS4 Pro console version instead of the jet-black version I had paid for and was expecting to get but I turned it on and played with it and after a few days of playing on it the console works really great and faster too. I’m now able to play my games better without the frame rate dropping out at times. And taking it sweet time loading up the game and the characters voices stuttering during cutscenes and skipping over words as displayed on the subtitles as it does on the base PS4 console. I can finally play games like Marvel Midnight Suns, Tales of Arise, Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis and especially Tower of Fantasy it has low frames rate at times but thanks to the PS4 Pro it can handle it and show the cutscenes correctly and the characters saying all there lines properly in the subtitles. But I’m disappointed the console has a small crack on each sides of it instead of being in perfect condition they’re hardly noticeable but I was expecting it to at least be in good condition for the price it was going for. But since it’s running great for me to finally play my games without any constant glitching or characters stuttering up as they’re talking during the game cutscenes I’m happy with my purchase with the PS4 Pro and thankful it’s working great as it should.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Because Play Station 4 is an excellent Sony device. I decided previously to return it because my room is too small. But that issue has ben solved and I wiil keep it.

the system works great but the controller malfunctioned. Contacted amazon they refunded me for the controller and all is well now. Great customer service.
