Surprisingly wonderful!
I ordered the DIVADERME Lash Extender (Lashes in a Bottle), after seeing a product like this demonstrated on Dr. Oz TV show. Got it thru Hair Extensions Company. Love it! I give it 4*stars because of the pricey tag on it. It ended up being around $23.00. I left it in my cart at Amazon.com on a Sunday afternoon. By the time 10PM rolled around, they had REDUCED it down to $17.94. I am blond with short stubby blond lashes. This product is pretty great. Follow the directions on the box it comes in. Make sure to use a NEW tube of mascara that you have so it is nice and wet. If you don't, the lash extender won't stick. Think of the mascara as the 'glue.' Put on your Mascara, then Lash Extender, then mascara again as final glue. You only put the lash extender on the very tips of your mascara applied to lashes. This product only comes in black, wish it was dark brown as it is pretty stark on my complexion. Because of price for the Lash Extender I will only probably use it on special occasions out. I had no problems applying it. Remember to ROLL the lash extender on just the tips, much like mascara for the final layer. I did use a heated eyelash curler (point your hair dryer on it for few seconds) and it worked just fine and made more dramatic. I definitely will buy this product again. Good Luck ladies, your gonna love this product.

I actually like it...
I was apprehensive because of the reviews, but wanted to try it because I can never get actual false lashes to stay put. I have Suffalupagus lashes already, but wanted some more volume and drama...just because? Anyway...this stuff adds more volume/ thickness to my lashes and while very subtle, adds the appearance of more length. I did have an issue with clumping at first, but gave it a few more tries and haven't had an issue since. If there ever is a random clump, i just take a lash comb and separate that area. I found it did flake originally, but then I re-read the instructions and realized it's because my regular mascara was more cake-y than creamy, which causes this stuff to get dry and crusty. I have not had flaking issues since getting a new mascara. My biggest concern was hearing about the little fibers getting into the eye. I found that when I applied it while looking down, as the instructions state, I have not really had an issue with this. I'd recommend brushing away excess from your face and cheeks before moving or looking up, though, so you don't blow anything into the eye. I'll probably get more when this runs out.

Thicker, darker, longer lashes BUT be careful to not use them to the eyelash line to avoid clogging ducts!
IMPORTANT UPDATE: I had to stop using this product after 2-yrs, as I got a nasty case of blepharitis, basically clogged oil & tear ducts near the lash line, causing inflammation & slight infection in the eye. The extenders clogged my ducts. It took an entire year to clear up, using $$$ eye cream a pharmacist had to mix up special order & painful twice/daily scrubbing of the eyelash area with baby shampoo & a QTip (all dr's instructions). My eyelids were red raw & my eyeballs burned for 1-yr. It also significantly affected my vision (the reason I initially saw the dr) & I couldn't walk down stairs without sitting down, because I simply couldn't see & I couldn't drive for 6-mos.Additionally, I couldn't wear any eye makeup at all for 1-yr now (I'm just getting back to 1 slight coat of mascara on the lash tips only) & that still irritates my eyes a bit, so I've stopped 'til I work up the nerve to try it again. Ironic, as the reason I began using them was to have darker, longer lashes & I had to revert to naked eyes for 1-yr... I can't tell you how distressing this has been, because I work in the beauty field & have been simply bare faced all this time... partial makeup (like foundation & lipstick only) just looks silly. So, if you do wear these extenders... ensure you don't coat your lashes all the way back to the eyelid... use them on the tips or from the middle out. My eye specialist is sure it's the extenders, which caused the clogging, but I did press the extenders all the way to my skin line... obviously not smart in hindsight. So, I still love them & may try them again, but please be careful during use!*** Note: I left my initial review unedited below, because they surely do work. Just be careful. Because of my experience, I did downgrade my review from 5 to 2 stars... they should come with some sort of warning, because I've never had clogged pores with mascara coated all the way to my eyelid, so these small extenders do seem to have a problem clogging pores. ***I found out about extenders on a beauty message board. After researching, I thought I'd give this product a try mainly as it's made from basil, Vitamin E & 4-5 ingredients I actually recognize... not a lot of chemicals it takes a pharmacology degree to decipher. I've used lash extending mascaras in the past with no success & tossed them after a few uses... they would crumble & flake getting into my eyes, seemed to straighten my lashes so they looked odd, are hard to remove with eye makeup remover & turned my eyes red & itchy after a few hrs... very unpleasant particularly when I wore contacts.I love the look of modest false lashes (not the obvious, 60s, Twiggy-look for daily wear), but don't wish to learn how to apply them or take the time to do it for regular use. Naturally, my lashes are long & fairly thick, but blondish so don't stand out. What I love with these extenders is I look as if I'm wearing moderate false lashes, but without the bother of applying them! Additionally, they don't flake or crumble or irritate my eyes. I honestly have to say, my lashes look 3-4 times as long & thick! Really! To get that look in the past, I'd need to layer 4+ coats of multiple mascaras. It worked, but it was time consuming, expensive to buy multiple mascaras & great care was needed to avoid clumps. On mornings when I didn't have enough sleep, it took extra attention to avoid looking as if someone threw tarantulas on my eyes! Removal was a bear, too... imagine trying to take off 4-6 coats of thick mascara... I spent lots of $ on cotton balls & pricey removers & lots of time trying not to tug at sensitive under eye skin. For usage, I apply a thick coat of mascara... Mac Haute & Naughty works best so far for me ($19) as it's wet & thick, causing the extenders to stick... then immediately ROLL ON the extenders, wait for lashes to dry, then roll on a top coat of mascara. Be careful not to scrape the extenders off, so vertical brushing or rolling the brush is necessary for the top coat... this seems to be the main issue others have in applying them. It's not hard, just hard to remember to roll the applicator & mascara, not stoke as we normally do.The extenders look similar to vacuum cleaner dust. Some fragments may stray onto the cheek, but honestly, I'm only finding that as my 1st bottle is over 6-mos old & perhaps the air has changed the quality of the product so they've become more flaky. It did take 2-3 tries before I got the hang of applying them. Now, I NEVER go out without them & because my lashes are so nicely emphasized once the extenders are applied, I often then just apply lipstick & nothing else.** Update after using for 1-yr **I still ADORE this product?! I've just purchased a 4th bottle (although I've only used 2... they seem to last 6-mos for me) & will continue to use this product indefinitely. Lastly, for those of you with allergies, I'm allergic to so many products, it's easier for me to tell you what I can use than what I can't. I have had no issues whatsoever with DivaDerme in 1-yr's time. Also, I did try their mascara for $8 (see my review) & didn't like it at all. I'm disappointed as I thought it would be thicker & wetter, allowing the extenders to stick. In my experience, not so.Try the extenders if you haven't used them before. I think you'll love the results! The only 'problem' is I feel naked without them. I put on 2 coats of mascara last weekend to go shopping... didn't like the skimpy eyelash look, so I took an extra 30-seconds to use the extenders, then a top coat of mascara to get my usual full lash look. I love these extenders!

Good, but messy!
I ordered this because I am shocking at applying false eyelashes, and they're quite expensive, even if you can re-use them, so I thought I would give this a go, because it's only a couple of pounds more than my favourite falsies. It's quite a small bottle, but I reckon it would last for absolutely ages because you only don't need that much each time. The instructions state you need a quite runny mascara - something that coats your lashes, but stays wet so that you can layer the fluff onto it (the stuff in the bottle just resembles fluff/felt). I just bought a new Revlon mascara, which is quite good; I'd recommend getting a fairly cheap one, that's runny and has a nice, defining, brush - you want something that gets each lash nice and wet with mascara. The instructions state you should do this with a mirror on the ground, with you hanging over it; this is so minimal amount of fluff gets on your face - it'll get on it anyway, but this does minimise it.It takes time: I did one coat of mascara, one coat of fluff, one coat of mascara, one coat of fluff, one final coat of mascara to "set" it. I think a defining mascara is key really, because you need to make sure that the final coat of fluff is all coated over with mascara, otherwise it just falls off into your face and eyes - which, by the way, is annoying and painful and your eyes do not look sexy when they're red and inflamed from fluff.Overall - I quite like it, the finished product is quite impressive, although not as neat as using false eyelashes, but I wasn't really expecting that. It's not too difficult to use, it's cheap enough that you can give it a go without worrying about it being a hugely disastrous waste of money. I'd buy it, and a runny/defining mascara and give it a whirl, but try it out before you go on your huge date/night out, because if your eyes get irritated, you need to take it off asap, trust me!(I also didn't receive the little brush shown in the photos)

Not bad, but clumps easily
So it does what it says if used carefully - it does make my lashes appear fuller and longer. Other reviewers might have said already but here are the steps to using it:1. Apply 1 coat of a really wet (but not clumpy) mascara2. Gently pull the wand out of the bottle, tapping off any excess fibers3. Looking down into a mirror (so the fibers don't fall into your eyes) brush the fibers onto your lashes like you were using mascara4. Apply another coat or two of your mascara to set/seal the fibers to your lashesI think my only grievance is that after applying the fibers, they sometimes can get pretty clumpy if you're not careful. Not sure there's a way around it though. Also, I'm paranoid of pieces of fiber or clumps of fiber falling off my lashes during the day. So far I don't THINK this has happened, although I've noticed some inexplicable irritation in my eyes that leads me to associate the problem with this product. The individual fibers are pretty tiny so I'm sure some could fall in my eye, irritate it, and not be immediately obvious or visible to me. Since I can't confirm it, I'm not going to knock it too much. But I think 4 stars is fair. Pretty easy to use, inexpensive - this will last me a ton of uses! - and easy to remove.

Also, ich bin echt mies dran!

Effective
I thought I would try this product after reading the reviews. I have a VERY expensive alternative which works in a slightly different way. My other one gathers a build up onto the lashes layer by layer and is quite moist. DivaDerme contains dry fibres that build up onto the lashes after a coat of mascara (the fibres need to stick to the mascara). I have quite long lashes anyway, I just want to get away from the 'sticking' of false ones on. DivaDerme is very effective, yet you do need to be patient and apply a few coats but this will be depending on personal preference. It does give the false lash effect (on me anyway, but I like that). Fibres will fall on to the apples of the cheek, but I find it best to ignore until you've finished the application and simply brush off with a blusher brush. I feel that more thickness is achieved rather than length. Still looks very good.

Suprisingly good results!!
I have to say that I really like this product!! I wasn't really expecting such good results - but it really does make a difference. I normally use it for a night out or special occasion as I have just never got to grips with applying fake eyelashes!! Its quite easy to apply and the results are instant, you do have to keep check that it hasn't started to run onto eyelids through out the night for example, but otherwise it makes a huge difference to your normal mascara and the last tube I ordered lasted me nearly a year. All in all this is really good value and actually does what it says.
