Best French press I have owned. Durable and stylish, super easy to clean.

This was a genuine le creuset french press new, in New packaging. Roughly the same price as le creuset, but I was able to get the color I wanted, and much faster. All around happy.

So, I've always owned a Bodum French Press (still do) for making tea and I was looking for something that would be more sturdy than the Bodum glass. This definitely is that. The stoneware of this press is great, the finish and color are awesome, just what I hoped for. The only area that the Bodum still shines above the Le Creuset is in the filtering. The stainless screen works great as a main filter/press, however the spout on the Le Creuset has none where the Bodum has a secondary filter to catch whatever particles escape through. This is definitely not a deal killer, I still like them both but the Bodum is just a bit better at filtering than the Le Creuset.

To be honest, I was expecting a high quality press from LeCreuset. What I received instead is a press with an ill fitting screen that spills coffee and grounds out of the spout while pushing plunger to the bottom. The other issue I have is, no matter how fast or slow I pour the coffee, it runs down the outside from the spout onto the table or counter. I should not have this much cleaning up, Before! my first cup of coffee. Unfortunately I threw out the box expecting nothing but the highest quality from this brand. I will be purchasing a Bodum press in the very near future.

Great product

I received this as a gift. Each time I use it I end up with grounds in my coffee cup! I have tried adjusting the screen, plunging more slowly, and I don’t use fine ground coffee. Makes good tasting coffee but I have to pour the coffee through a strainer into my cup. Would not recommend.

It's really pretty, and durable, but, it doesn't keep my coffee warm for very long. My stainless steel french press, that was only about $25, does a better job of that. So I was a little disappointed, given the price of this one. So I use it for cold press coffee instead.

Love this colour so much. It’s actually my third one of these French presses. The first was a gift. I chipped the first one after 4 years, then got a new one as a gift and my kid dropped it after a month and now I bought this one for myself. I will never not have one of these coffee presses. They are the ultimate.

Does the job. Helps to make great coffee and maintains heat. Easy to wash.

Very attractive cafetière but I find it does let some coffee sludge through into my cup. I decided I wanted to keep it so I have adapted it by unscrewing the plunger and finding suitable screw to fix the nob onto the lid permanently. I use it now with a coffee filter cone and paper filter so no more sludge in my coffee. Still happy with the coffee pot but coffee tastes better now.

I have been impressed with the quality and how easy it is to clean . I love the fresh smell of coffee in the mornings .

Eine schöne, aber nicht ganz billige French Press. Am Anfang hatte ich sehr viel Freude damit, in Kombination mit einer manuellen Kaffeemühle war das eine ideale Kombi. Leider hat nun nach wenigen Monaten der Henkel einen Riss bekommen, die Kanne ist nicht mehr benutzbar, weshalb ich sie zurück geschickt habe. Das darf meiner Meinung nach bei einem hochpreisigen Produkt nicht passieren. Wir haben auch einen emaillierten Topf von LeCreuset, der einwandfrei ist. Das war auch der Grund, warum wir die French Press gekauft haben. Wäre die Ware einwandfrei, würde ich gerne 5 Sterne vergeben, aber ein Henkel darf nicht einfach einen Riss bekommen (bitte nicht mit einem Bruch verwechseln, der nach einem Fall o.ä. auftreten kann). Nachtrag 14.01.2023: Auch die 2. French Press von Le Creuset ist nach ca 3 Monaten nicht mehr nutzbar. In diesem Fall wurde sie im unteren Bereich wo Boden und zylindrischer Teil zusammenstoßen undicht, das heißt sie läuft aus. Es handelt sich wahrscheinlich um Haarrisse oder ähnliches, da sich keine groben Beschädigungen ausmachen lassen. Wir haben immer nur von Hand gewaschen und sind auch sonst sehr pfleglich umgegangen. Ich habe die Bewertung nach dieser Erfahrung von 2 auf 1 Stern reduziert. Wir haben jetzt eine Edelstahl Press von Waldwerk, heute das 1. mal benutzt. Die Bewertung folgt nach ausgiebigem Testen.
