**Q: how many straps are in pack?**
A: 2 straps in each package.  The deal I took was for 3 packages...I have used them, they work well.  These small ones have 6 to 8 inches of elastic material (limiting stretch), and most of the 42" length is just non-stretch but easily adjustable strap.

**Q: does one package come with two straps?**
A: Yes. Two straps come in the package.

**Q: Amazon calls this a "2 pack".  Is it two packs of 2- 4 total straps or one pack with 2 total straps?  Thanks**
A: It is one pack with only 2 straps inside it.  They are awesome.

**Q: Do you recommend these for airline luggage?**
A: Yes! I've personally used these on my luggage while backpacking around Europe, and they saved the day more than once.
