But it requires such little effort to cut things with it! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent paring knife! *by 7***N on June 14, 2024* The design of this knife hits the sweet spot. The blade is thin enough to make it a great slicer and the design is perfect for the small tasks that paring knives are supposed to be designed for. It feels great in the hand with scalpel-like agility. One caveat that should be mentioned is that although the blade steel contains 13.5% chromium, rust spots will appear if not dried after use. The chromium content is high enough to make this a stainless steel, but I'm guessing that some of the chromium is tied up in carbides, but this makes the knife stay sharper longer. Drying the knife after using is not a problem for us.
