We purchased this lock for the office. The installation was a breeze. Took half an hour including removal of the old one (and could probably take even less if I didn't get distracted along the way). The installed lock looks great and works as expected - keeps the door locked when needed and unlocks when authorized person unlocks it. Fingerprint reader works great - pretty fast and pretty reliably (so far I had to make the second attempt only once, and even then it's just extra 3 seconds) so I'm happy with the performance so far. HOWEVER, there are two things that could (and I think should) be improved: 1) and foremost - access log export. It's probably unnecessary for home use, but for the office it's a must have feature. Having the log in the app is great, but not enough when it comes to investigating a security breach. That shouldn't be too hard to implement either. 2) access log synchronization with the app. The log from the lock only gets synchronized to the app when I OPEN the app. It should be pushed to the app as soon as my phone with enabled Bluetooth gets within the range (the way it works, for example, with my Fossil smart watches - my sleep data gets pushed to the phone app as soon as the phone is in range). And if the log has any new records I should be notified (or add customizable notifications). Overall, I'm satisfied with this lock and if at least the first feature is added I'll be a happy camper and will probably even add the wifi dongle to our setup. On a side note - I spoke to the customer support before I ordered the lock and they were knowledgeable and helpful. I hope they are as good when it comes to resolving issues (which I hope I will never figure out for myself).

bought this after seeing lock picking lawyer doing a review of the deadbolt. because of the review I knew the lock core was well done and it didn't seem to have an flaws that a magnet could override. the code pad works great. the finger sensor works great. was able to install in existing door hole without issue. didn't add the upper mount, just used the 2 sided tape. the batteries are still going strong after the year. batteries should last. many more years. would recommend the Wi-Fi adapter so you can control the lock while on vacation if needed.

Received this lock and was impressed on how well it was not only built but packaged to boot. To some the install might look a bit daunting but if you use the BILT app (instructions upon opening box advise you on how) it's actually very straightforward and easy to install. I have a read a few reviews where people say the unit is loose and doesn't appear to be built well. I couldn't disagree more. It seems to be built extremely well and I would argue if it appears anything less the install wasn't done properly. One issue I did run into was upon initial install the outer handle wouldn't turn the spindle and engage the latch to allow the door to open regardless if it was locked or not. After installing it and reinstalling it and having the same issue, I started to become frustrated and called Lockley customer service. Their customer care was very prompt and professional and immediately had a solution for me. You simply go into settings and hit "calibrate". The lock calibrated itself for about a minute and worked perfectly fine after that. Figured I'd add this as the rep told me it's a common issue. Hoping this saves some of you some frustration and potentially returning it should you feel it is defective. Lastly, as far as the operation goes, I have read some reviews on the fingerprint scanner itself not working perfectly. I have not had an issues with mine. On initial setup, the app will give you the option of a "deep scan" once you set up your initial print. I highly recommend doing this as it makes it much easier for the lock to recognize your print. Also I noticed to apply just the very tip of your finger when unlocking versus the tip and middle part of the print. Doing this assures it will unlock it first attempt just about every time.

It looks nice and has great features BUT the quality may not be there. The fingerprint scanner has stopped working for the second time now. It stopped about a month ago for about a week then it started working again consistently for about a month then stopped working again. The keypad works - the issue is with the fingerprint scanner. The fingerprint scanner is the big selling point. I had one that used the code but I wanted this one because of the scanner and the google integration. The scanner when it works is very quick. I am starting to seriously doubt whether this will be a durable product. I’ve emailed them - it doesn’t seem that they can perform any diagnostics remotely. I spenta lot of money on this lock as I bought the whole kit. I wouldn’t recommend this lock at this time.

I was a little worried about the fingerprint sensor working well and having to use the pin every time. But it works very well and is very fast to unlock. The quality of the lock is very good and does not fell cheap. It actually feels very heavy duty. I use this on the door to my detached garage and it make entering and exiting very easy. I no longer have to get the key when I go to the garage. The only thing I was hoping it can do is work with my Kwikset keys as all my other locks are that. However, the grove patten is different. I know it can be rekeyed but it would be nice if the key cylinder could be change to kwikset smart key one. So I can have just one key for all my locks.

Ya he tenido esta cerradura por varios meses desde que la compré y ha sido de mucha utilidad, bastante fácil de instalar, programar y sin no he tenido ningún problema de seguridad desde que la compré. Es importante considerar que la uso en la puerta de entrada de mi departamento y que no está expuesta a la intemperie completamente.
