I purchased these bowls as an uncommon, unique, gift for a family member. I found them to be of a very high quality. They are made of a thick, heavy metal and well made. Being hand made gives them a very cool look, too. The bag they are stored in is of a nice, quilt-like material. I couldn't help but to try them out myself. I actually looked on YouTube for videos to make sure I was doing it right. The smaller one has a high-pitched and very pleasing tone. It's difficult to describe, but once you get it down, it's a very satisfying and relaxing sound. It's a slightly different technique to get a good sound out of the larger bowl and I didn't master that one before wrapping it up. The little doughnut shaped plush stands that come with them make it a little easier as you don't have to try to balance them on your hand as you play them. (Holding them incorrectly diminishes the sound). Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and would buy them again. Oh, I forgot to mention. They are made in Nepal, which adds a very different aspect to them as a gift. If you are looking for a unique gift, or specifically for singing bowls, you will not be disappointed choosing these.

These are the first singing bowls I've ever owned and I did a lot of research before committing to buying these. They are gorgeous in sound and quality/craftsmanship. The auto tuner that I use for instruments says the little bowl is in the key of E and the bigger bowl is in a B. The sound is deep and permeating and even at this novice stage, I can easily make them sing. I am very happy with this purchase.

Cute, good quality and looks pretty

Very nice pair of bowls and carry bag. The mallet to play them needs to be larger. I use a larger one I have from another bowl and it works better. Both have a nice tones but the smaller one is much harder to play but great to hold for longer periods of time.

The media could not be loaded. It came with two bowls, two cloth rings as holders and one wood mallet in one bag. The brass is thick and heavy and both bowls make their own beautiful sound. I bought the set as a 21st anniversary gift, as the traditional gifts are brass and nickel.

The product worked exactly as advertised. Both bowls sound great. Packaging was well done. The beautiful silk bag and pillows were beautiful royal blue and shiny silver colors. It came with a wooden club. I highly recommend it. Very soothing tones. You get the most for your money buying this set in particular.

Nice quality for the price. Yes, the mallet could be larger, but in response to a couple of reviews that mention “poor quality” and “doesn’t sing” I do not find those reviews helpful or representative of the two that I just got. If you’re looking for a nice decorative set, these are great. If you’re looking for a nice starter set for a great price, these are perfect. If you are looking for transcendental mindfulness achieved by rubbing a couple of metal bowls that you scored for $40, then you’re living in a fool’s paradise. No judgement, just consider the cost of the product before leaving a 10 word, negative review.

This set is amazing!!! Both bowls have beautiful tones and the vibrations are felt through out your body. The craftmanship of the bowls is very high quality and love the included silk bag & pillows for safe storage.
