Nice and practical
Nice practical watch to wear anywhere. Waterproof and will stay on. It’s easy to set up and change the timings - watch and familiarise yourself with a YouTube video. It’s lightweight and comfortable to wear. Be careful though when tying the watch around your wrist because if you do it too carelessly the little stick thing will snap off as it’s fragile. Other than that it’s quite durable. I misplaced it one time and hadn’t seen it for weeks. Turns out it was in the garden that whole time. Whoops.

Classic, comfy, reliable, and iconic !
I’ve owned a lot of watches over the years—smartwatches, “serious” watches, fashion watches—and somehow the Casio F-91W remains one of the most satisfying things you can strap to your wrist. It’s cheap, it’s light, it’s unapologetically plastic… and it’s also weirdly perfect. It is lightweight and easy to wear, keeps solid time, and has a ridiculously long battery life. The alarm and hourly chime are simple but useful, and the retro look goes with almost anything. Downsides: the backlight is basic, the strap feels budget, and it’s only splash-resistant—not for swimming. BUT, overall it’s an unbeatable everyday watch for the price.

Cheap but so good
The watch not only looks great, but it feels solid, what for something so light it impressed me, forget I’m wearing the thing sometimes, and for what you get this is a bargain of a price, functionality wise lots of modes to choose from, and anything you might need is guaranteed to be there, especially happy to see they got the ability to switch between 24 hour and 12, as someone who lives in the UK much prefer the 24 hours one for sure, and although this thing is small it’s not a bad thing, I like it’s so light and small, could wear this for days without any issues, I don’t use it, but the alarm function seems solid, and you can toggle between all the settings, but amongst the alarm function options I prefer having it off completely, as I don’t like it particularly on any watch and makes it hard to wear in public spaces. Idk how water resistant this thing is, but it’s withstood the water it has gotten on it through the days naturally very well.

Waterproof and Shockproof.
Classic. A few of these I have been through have had problems with adequate LED lighting to see the time and date upon press, but this seems to have been ironed out in the latest purchase. Being solid state digital, these are waterproof and shockproof for the lowest budget.

Bulletproof watch for cheap price
Casio F-91w is a throwback to the basics of digital watches. Long battery, dependable and cheap. Excellent value for money with styling similar to the older variant. A perfect starter watch for a child or avid collector of Casios.

Classic digital watch.
I bought this as I hadn't owned a digital watch since the '90's. It's a great digital watch with quite basic functions as expected. The face is nice and clear with no reflection problems with the acrylic crystal. The strap is surprisingly comfortable, very lightweight with plenty of holes to fit any wrist. Although due to the material and how the strap is connected I can hear a little creaking noise coming from that area occasionally when it's quiet, but if I just adjust how it's sitting the noise goes away. My daughter liked the watch and wanted me to buy her one so she got a transparent pink one as you can see from the photo. She's 12 and small at that and it fits her wrist just fine. Although I will say the strap on her watch is more plasticky than mine. Also I didn't buy the pink one from Amazon as I found it much cheaper elsewhere. I've had a few splashes on the watch whilst doing dishes and such with no issues whatsoever so the water resistance is fine. The watch hasn't picked up any scratches so far and I wear it daily, even to work. As far as functionality is concerned it has the watch (obviously), a light, an alarm, a stopwatch, day/date display, a chime function and an am/pm or 24 hour display. The alarm is quite quick and easy to set and double beeps every second for twenty seconds if it isn't cancelled. The chime function double beeps once on the hour every hour but can be turned off if you prefer; I have mine on as I quite like it. The stopwatch does what it should and can be paused and restarted but doesn't have a lap element so is limited in its usefulness. EDIT 30/11/24 - I recently discovered that if you press the light button whilst using the stopwatch that it does pause the stopwatch and displays the word "lap". Pressing the light button again takes you back to the stopwatch which has continued counting in the interim so it turns out the stopwatch does indeed have a lap function. You can set the day and the month but the watch only displays the day and date but not the month. I don't have a problem with this but some might. The light is pretty woeful; a small green light on the left that only really illuminates the left hand side of the display. You can read the full time in the dark with the light on but it's not easy. If you ever owned a digital watch in the '80's or '90's you'll probably be aware of what the light is like. There is a mod that can be done if you are so inclined to improve the light. If you search on YouTube for "Casio Module 593 (F91W) Backlight Spreader Mod Installation Tutorial", I may do this at some point. There is no timer function so if you need that I would look elsewhere. I use the alarm as a timer sometimes as like I said it's pretty easy and quick to set (if you hold down the select button for a second or two the numbers cycle faster). All in all I'm very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this watch to anyone looking for a cheap, reliable digital piece of nostalgia!

Quality has changed, don’t recommend.
Would not recommend anymore. Have bought these for years and they’ve always lasted well and at such a low price can’t grudge requiring a new one every year or so. Recently I bought one in December which stopped working within 2 weeks and then bought another straight away thinking it was a one off, the replacement stopped working within a few days, completely blank screen unresponsive. Two watches not working in such a short time suggests there have been changes that reduced the quality. Seller said they’d refund or replace the second watch, which they have done neither.
