Garlic Whirl Butter-Flavored Oil, 1 Gallon

As a former professional chef, butter substitute was always on hand. Gordon's has their brand which I've used since then. Since we've moved, I've been unable to find an equivalent. I finally tried this one and love the garlicky flavor! The higher smoke point makes this perfect for many different dishes. It's fantastic to baste meats and breads right out of the oven. It's also shelf stable. I LOVE this product!!

A vast majority of pizza restaurants (and even non-pizza establishments) offering a garlic butter dipping sauce serve Whirl, and you'll most likely find the taste and flavor to be familiar. Shaken well, you'll also find the consistency matches perfectly with what you're used to getting at your favorite restaurant. This stuff is also fantastic when you want to add a touch of flavor to the frozen hockey pucks masquerading as pizza in your grocer's freezer section. A light drizzle on your pizza pan and on top of the pizza before cooking will net some excellent results. While you might be looking for this for your pizza indulgence habit, this is also the same stuff you'll get at Fazoli's if you ask for a side of garlic sauce for your breadsticks. Having a gallon of the stuff at home is an excellent way to make sure you're covered if you empty out the tiny cup they give you before your to-go breadstick stash is depleted. While the cost of Whirl has increased over the years, I still feel a gallon is well worth the price considering what the chain places charge for a side of dipping sauce. This gallon pays for itself after a few carry-out trips. If you're in doubt, go for it anyway.

This product is a little weak on the garlic flavor by itself, but it's still very close to pizza joint garlic butter and certainly stronger than any garlic butter I've tried to make out of real butter and garlic. I made garlic bread out of a whole head of oven roasted garlic, a quarter loaf of artisan bread cut horizontally, garlic whirl brushed on the open face of bread, Italian parsley, maldon salt. Best garlic bread ever! Also goes great on any other dishes that love garlicky flavor.

My husband and I really like the taste of this and uses it on the grill ALL THE TIME. It bothers me that after buying it this time, they reduced the price by $2. It's not cheap stuff.

Excellent product this is some real good stuff and you can taste the garlic in this butter you got to easy with it or you can over power food with the Garlic but I highly recommend. Great for cooking, grilling ,sauteing it's just good on anything.

Maybe my fault or it wasn't mixed properly, but the garlic is overwhelmingly the only flavor in this. Not the buttery taste that I remember it having with it. Next time I'll try just the regular one and add my own garlic. I cannot think of a single way to use this. Even as a dip for pizza crust, it's just (never thought I could ever say this) too garlicy, coming from someone who LOVES garlic.

I love it. Personally I could use more garlic flavor but I am a garlic freak. It has a nice buttery texture and heats easily. It's great to dip pizza crust or your whole slice. Great to brush on meats as a marinade or sear them. It also seasons vegetables well. Wonderful brushed on baked asparagus with some Parmesan sprinkles!! Very versatile.
