Time and water saver
Excellent product. So far so good. Not major issues. Pump to return clean water works well just need to be used how is works as is not a continuous flow. Other than that the material is strong and construction is sturdy. The suction is not strong to suction small fisher nearby, but just keep an eye on just in case. If you use the extensions be careful as are heavy to move. Overall excellent product, saves time to clean the pond and not waste too much water if the pond is not too dirty. My pond wasn’t cleaned from several months and maybe I lost 10-15 percent of the water inside the pond. After was less dirty I put the hose inside the pond.

Works much better than expected!
I'm submitting this review after just one use so far but I'm very satisfied with this product. I have a small 300 gallon pond that has been a real pain to clean by hand, emptying the pond and literally getting in on my knees and scooping out the sludge with a bucket by hand. Decided to buy this vacuum in hopes it would work as advertised. I can honestly say it has so much power it could've sucked out my entire pond in minutes. The assortment of nozzles are very handy. The sludge was gone in a couple passes. Was very simple to clean the unit with a garden hose. It is mostly plastic but seems very sturdy and well designed. I did buy some velcro straps to store the hoses/cord, as they always seem to unravel and tangle. It now stores neatly in my shed. I can totally recommend this vacuum as of now, I see no reason why it would give me any issues. Update after 6 months: unit still works great after many cleanings, but I had one issue with loss of suction. Checked hoses, nozzle, kinks and any other suggestions in the trouble shooting instructions. Finally found a small rock wedged in the check valve attachment blocking the flapper open. Works good as new now but I could've saved time if they specified in the instructions to check the flapper/check valve.

Great for cleaning pond water into lawn or flower beds.
Well, I didn’t realize that the discharge was gravity fed. The vacuum attachment is a snoozer but, algae nozzle works great!! I have a 300 gallon bog which is pure fish waste. Have a 80 foot roll flat hose to pump waste to a suitable place. Had to feed waste into a tub with a pump in it to pump waste to where I needed it!!!!

Works great- until it doesn’t
Got this and let it sit in the box for over a month. Finally got it out and set up to finish cleaning out pool. It worked great at first, (I was ready to give 5 stars and tell everyone they need one!) but within 24 hours of first use, it started losing suction. It’s not getting clogged that I can tell, so have to take apart all fittings and put back together. That’s worked but HIGHLY inconvenient to have to stop, fix it, and restart constantly. Motor has also started smoking more than once, which is concerning. I attempted to reach out to seller, but since it’s over 30 days, Amazon customer service intervened and was zero help.

READ***Not Reliable enough!
**Update June 26th, 2025:** Let me start by saying I really wanted this gadget to live up to the hype—promised functions, decent price, and all. I gave it a second shot today and even uploaded a video to show what it can do when it's *actually* working at its best. Spoiler: when it works, it’s impressive! If it stayed at that level consistently, I’d happily give it 4 stars and keep it around. But—and it’s a big but—the suction isn’t reliable. Like in my first review, I thought a job that should’ve taken 20 minutes turned into a grueling hour-long ordeal because the vacuum kept losing suctioning. Frustrating! When it’s not working, i realized it was just moving away the dirt so it looked like it was actually cleaning but it wasn’t. It’s also pretty loud. Earplugs are a quick fix. Now, onto the nozzles—there are four that interchange, but honestly, only one is worth using. The “wide nozzle” is what works best with its angled tip that lets you really make contact to the bottom and wall surface. The problem? It’s super flimsy and keeps rotating out of place, so I had to keep readjusting it while cleaning. The narrow nozzle might have some uses depending on what you’re cleaning and from what angle, but honestly, it’s not much better. The gravel and string algae nozzles? Completely useless for me—probably for most people, to be honest. The wide nozzle is the only reason I see some potential if it weren’t for that design flaw. And finally, one more gripe—one of the foam filters keeps slipping off I can’t recommend or not recommend this product at the moment…

Efficient Dirt Removal with Water Recycling
This unit exceeded my expectations. It uses strong suction to pull in debris, separates the dirt from the water, and continuously recycles the clean water back into the system. The waste exits through the outlet side, so you don’t lose water volume in the process. What impressed me most is that it operates almost hands-free—once it’s running, it does all the work for you. A well-designed and efficient piece of equipment that’s absolutely worth the investment!!!

1 1/4" intake hose too small . . . clogs repeatedly with leaves
This unit should have had a 2" inlet hose, instead of a very restricted 1 1/4" inlet hose. Could not handle any leaf matter. Big design flaw! Before I was going to send this unit back, I hooked up the inlet side to my 2" shop vac hose . . . surprisingly, it fit into the tank inlet (with a slight looseness, which turned out to be OK). I connected two 2"x8' shop vac hoses (with a coupling I made from a shop vac wand section) and voilà, it performed like a champ, sucking up leaves and muck efficiently. The 2" brush attachment did a far superior job than any other attachment, with the bristles acting to sweep debris into the vacuum column within the hose. I have decided to keep this unit--flaws and all--because it allows continuous discharge that simplifies the process, as opposed to the shop vac, which when full, shuts down. Pond Guy, you've got a good product but this design flaw makes it a loser for all-around efficiency. Change your design and you will have a big winner. And when you do and make millions from your revised unit, please send me my finders-fee of $20,000.00!
