I got exactly what I expected with my Dr. Martens. They arrive on time which I appreciate, and come with a tag tied, with string, to the shoe in the box with a "100% Vegan" label. The synthetic leather is smooth yet has the quality of actual leather. I tried on a pair of Size 7 UK in my local Journeys and those fit like a regular boot which I knew wasn't normal for a pair of Dr. Martens so I was lucky enough to have ordered the size 6 UK. The boots fit very snug until you break them in, but they're meant to. I've had them for about a week and by wearing them to my cashier job and standing in them all day, with two pairs of socks, I've managed to break them in already and can now wear regular socks with them. They are easy to clean and very functional; none of that dragging your feet around like normal boots will do, and since I wear these everywhere, that is very good for. They also add an extra inch to my height with is good for someone who's only 5'1''. Something I anticipated was blistering on my right pinkie toe since it was rubbing against the side of the boot while I broke them in. I came home with redness for the first few days. But again, I expected this from Dr. Martens. Don't buy a pair of boots to wear everyday and not expect a blister or two. Luckily, I managed to fix the problem with over sized socks before any actual damage was done. If the shoes are too tight at first, just wear comfortable socks and wait it out, they'll come around. Overall I got everything I wanted out of these boots. The look, the feel, the height, and I've also gotten some comments about them from people I know. They're boots that are worth the money, especially if you're sick of searching for vegan shoes on the internet. Top notch!

Ive always been a Dr. Martin fan. The size and style are perfect. Very comfy and light weight. Very functional and a good value for the money.

Worth it

I was really excited to get these boots as I've always liked doc martens and always wanted a pair. the boots look great and the vegan leather is sleek. but there is one major issue that I want to warn future buyers about before spending close to $100 on a pair of boots. the quality of this shoe is terrible, i owned them for a groundbreaking 5 days before they were damaged by something as simple as leaving them in a car overnight after a short 2 day camping trip. the next day after getting back from my trip i went back to the car to pick up the doc's alongside 2 other pairs of shoes and a bag of food i had forgotten about. To my amazement these $90 boots had a long thread of melted material coming from the sole of the right boot, enough to leave a sizable and noticeable indent in the front of the boot. this was literally only after 5 days of receiving the doc martens, I had 2 other pairs of shoes that were not damaged at all and fruits that didn't even go bad, yet. my $90 doc martens were damaged. I emailed the doc martens support team in hopes of getting a refund, or maybe a new pair if offered if i sent these back. i was only met with a half-assed warranty claim that doc martens only offers warranty for manufacturer’s defects and factory errors, but not for natural wear/tear, worn down soles, fit or comfort, so i can send them in for "inspection" but they'd just be sent back if there were no manufacture errors. normally i'd understand this and would move on with no fuss but I've never in my life have had a pair of shoes that melt under moderate heat, as a matter of fact I've never had a pair of shoes melt ever! there were bananas in the car that came out just fine yet these shoes didn't, i wouldn't recommend these shoes to anybody that so much as walks out on concrete on a hot day unless they'd want to fuse to the floor from the sole melting.
