Native Deodorant Contains Naturally Derived Ingredients, 72 Hour Odor Control, Deodorant for Women and Men, Aluminum Free, Charcoal 2.65oz

I've been using this product for 2 years and it works as stated. I have sensitive skin and this doesn't irritate my skin at all. Every so often, I've asked those close to me if they've noticed any odors over the past two years and they've always replied no. I've used other brands previously that were specifically labeled as "gentle" or for "sensitive skin", which were anything but. Those were also HIGHLY scented and irritated my skin, unlike this product which is very effective without all the unnecessary chemical additives. I feel the coconut oil has soothing properties and it actually helps keep my underarm skin healthy instead of making it parched, like other brands do. This product doesn't state that it's for sensitive skin but for me it's far more gentle than any other brand I've used. I also like that it doesn't contain any harsh anti-perspirants so my body can breathe and cool itself off properly through the natural act of sweating. The act of sweating releases toxins through your skin pores so it's not healthy to impede that process. This product supports that natural process by not containing any anti-perspirant chemicals. Although it's labeled as unscented, science will tell you that everything in the world has a scent (even water) and this product has a very minimal wisp of a scent that's nearly imperceptible. Manufacturer's usually refer to this as a 'masking scent' so you don't notice the smell of chemicals in a product. However, this product has minimal chemicals (that's why I chose it) so there's not much to cover up and that's a good thing! Neither I, nor anyone else that I've asked, can detect a fragrance. The ONLY time I can smell anything is when I apply it to my underarms, so the product is obviously in closer proximity to my nose. As I glide it across my skin a faint scent of a Lifesaver's pineapple flavor candy takes me immediately back to my happy childhood memories. It lasts for a few seconds and then it's gone. Could just be me but every time I use this I end up with a smile on my face. 😊 I think this happens because your underarm skin is warm so the deodorant also warms and the solidified coconut oil melts a bit as you apply it, which releases the barely-there scent. I don't smell coconut, I smell glorious pineapple! Whoever thought to make it like this is genius! For those of you who don't smell anything for those few seconds, you're missing out.

I love Native deodorant. It smells great and lasts a long time! I am health-conscious, and not having aluminum content on my skin gives me a sense of relief. It works like any other deodorant, and after a few strokes, you are ready to go for the day.

I’ve tried so many aluminum-free deodorants and most of them either stop working halfway through the day or irritate my skin. This one is a total win. Native seriously nailed it. First of all, it glides on so smooth no tugging, no weird crumbling, and it doesn’t leave that heavy, sticky feeling. The scent is clean and fresh without being overpowering or fake-smelling. It’s just the right amount of fragrance where you feel put together but not like you sprayed perfume under your arms. What I love most is that it actually works. I can get through a full busy day (running around, workouts, life chaos) and still feel fresh. No weird chemical smell mixing with sweat either — it just does its job. I also really appreciate that it’s aluminum-free and made with ingredients I feel good about using daily. My skin is sensitive and this hasn’t caused any irritation or redness at all. If you’ve been on the hunt for a cleaner deodorant that doesn’t make you sacrifice performance, this is it. Five stars all day.

This works really good, it has a sweet peach smell to it and lasts for most of the day. After a long day the sweat makes it smell odd to me as my partner doesn't notice a change. Ive only used it after my showers since im afraid it might change the smell if I reapply throughout the day. When i get a new one i will try that and update if it makes me smell decent still after a few uses or if it starts to stink. It hasn't caused any irritation to my skin. I do like how easy it is to roll both ways and it doesn't get stuck like most deodorants I've used. Though I dont like how it visibly sticks to my clothes as it takes a bit to dry.

Another reviewer claimed the deodorant can last up to three days without reapplication. I can confirm this. Even after a three hour bike ride I didn't have strong underarm odor. I also have not noticed that it leaves marks on clothes (and I exclusively wear dark colors). I've been looking for a quality natural deodorant since Alaffia stopped making their coco-care charcoal ones. I didn't get the charcoal one of Native, however, as I was scared it would be too perfumey. But I can say that the lavender and rose one smells exactly like lavender essential oil with a hint of rose essential oil and nothing more. It's not a fake cloying floral smell. But the (natural) smell does linger, which I like. Another reviewer complained that it smelled astringent and like pinesol, but I reckon they've never actually smelled real lavender essential oil and expected the awful fake smell. I'm now less scared to try the other scents.

Worth every penny! I know this seems pricy but it’s like the only deodorant out there that actually works that has a decent ingredient list and no scent! I’ve been having skin reactions to scents and this product has caused no issues. It helps me stay dry and fresh with wholesome ingredients.

This product may be great for some/most people but I ended up at the doctor's office with diagnosis of allergic reaction likely due to this deodorant as it was new to me (bright red irritation both underarms), so it cost me $300 and a prescription. I would just recommend increased awareness in general of all deodorant ingredients of any brand and recommend close watch when you start using it for reaction which may be delayed. It is fragrance free, aluminum free and paraben free but not necessarily free from allergic reaction to the other ingredients/chemicals in the product. I may be an exception but wanted to share this. If you are not allergic to ingredients this may be a great product. I should have considered hypo-allergenic deodorant.

Absolutely get this item... ok so i tested this the day i got it and it smells amazing but what's more is this thing will keep you fresh and smell free way over the time you need it. It does not wreck your clothes, it properly smells great (subtle vanilla) and is highly recommended for fellas and the partner has fell in love with it now... No skin irritation, perfect size, very effective, super easy to use and carry, highly recommend fellas for after gym or going for meals you will not regret it...
