I used this for a facial mask and hair mask. My hair and face feet clean and not overly stripped.

I really wanted to try Rhassoul clay after seeing so many bloggers rave about it as a natural option for hair care. I have medium-density, color-treated hair with oily roots and dry ends. Unfortunately, I didn’t like it at all. It seems like your scalp might need time to adjust, because at first it’s almost impossible to properly cleanse oily roots. On top of that, it made my ends incredibly dry — worse than ever. Overall, it was a terrible experience for me. This might work better for people with longer hair, who can keep the ends away from the clay. Maybe it’s good for the scalp, but the hair itself ended up looking awful.

Beautiful, soft, moisturizing. I used this to make a face cleansing mask and loved it, my face felt so smooth.

No thanks! I put some in water and let it settle after mixing and poured it out on a woven cotton pad. In the glass I could see a black line above the majority red clay. Poured it out and indeed it was black. To my understanding this is lead. If the lead isn't in a pencil, I don't care to use it. I can not recommend this product. On top of that the package nor the website fully discloses where this stuff comes from exactly. Not cool.
