A really neat idea. With a little encouragement they slide beside the existing panel. Then you can attach the fence topper. Be aware: don't let them slip down too far before you attach the topper - never to be seen again.

These are perfect if your fence posts and fences aren’t tall enough and you want some trellis put on top for some height and privacy, easy to use, look good, good quality

These brackets were dead easy to install and if using with fencing great. However, I was using to create a deterrent for the pesky Heron that was troubling my Koi Carp. You must support these brackets if yo pull on one side. The easiest way to support is to have two brackets back to back with a piece of wood in between to stop the one way pull

So easy to use and really good supports for trellis on top of my fence panels. I love the way they are held firmly in place and hold panels in a sturdy manner. The product was well packed and delivered very quickly. Thoroughly recommended.
