Great item. just works
Great kit. Had no issues with the install at all. It's sturdy, slides smoothly, and looks great. Just an amazing value. My only complaint is that everything in the manual was in metric (cm vs. inches) so I had to do a lot of conversions for measurements and drill bits. But that's such a snotty American complaint. As an aside, I think the US should switch to the metric system. We are the only big player not on it and that's just not fair to anyone. But in the meantime, i know inches and the instructions are not in inches. So a lot of conversions on my phone as i went. But no biggy. I also had a scare during install that my door was too tall. When you hang the rail and get your door ready to hang, you will probably have an "oh sh*t" moment where you are POSITIVE your door is too tall. You'll curse the metric system, curse the instructions, and recheck your measurements. Do not despair! It's probably perfect. My door had about a quarter inch clearance at the bottom but when right before it was hung there was definitely an optical image that it was WAY too big. Great kit!!

Great quality. Sturdy.
Very happy with the barn door kit. It was easy to assemble and install even without directions. Works perfect. Wheels seem to roll very nice and are whisper quiet. Only mod I made was to make a small dimple on top of the track where the wheel stops when fully open so the wheel sits in it because even with it being 99.9% level it still closes by itself...Door I built weights about 40 pounds but can open and close with 1 finger...that's how easy it is to open and close. I would have given it as 5 star if it came with instructions.

Great product
I bought and installed several years ago for my hay barn. They are intended for indoor use, but have endured the rough use of a barn door opened and closed daily for over two years. They were easy to install and operate smoothly. They'll jump the tracks when my dogs bang into the door while it's open, but I would expect that. I would recommend to a friend.

Always the math!!
I didn't like the directions so much, they were a little complicated and I found that they were inaccurate as well when it came to measuring the distance between the top of the door and the center of the hole for the brackets. There were two different dimensions. My instalation was easy enough because what I had was three doors that actually opened on hinges. I wanted to make the center one a slider because it was annoying to always have to open it. So from the top of all the other doors is how I calculated all my measurements. I'm pretty sure that most of these kinds of sliding door brackets are going to be complicated in this way, i.e., MATH. I also elected not to use the bottom center glider because that meant that I would have to get a router and then make that cut and that seems a little bit inconvenient for hanging a door like this. So what I elected to do instead was find bracket that was for a closet door and modify it for my use. I also just installed new laminate flooring and I didn't want to drill holes into anything so I used double sticky tape to put the bracket on the floor. I think I need to invent some sort of a bracket that will be used in a situation like this because I could find nothing that would really work for what I intended. But as far as the rails, they are awesome and the wheels glide perfectly, there's no binding and I am happy with this setup.

Perfect!!
Very substantial and sturdy! Great looking product, well-made. We used this on a 6'x 8' door. Absolutely love it! Slides like butter on a hot knife. Easy to install.
