I only buy double-wall boxes for storage or transport because they are superb for rigidity and stackability. They are very unlikely to buckle and allow you to make the most of your space. This pack of 12x12x18" boxes are a good size for storing a variety of things without becoming to heavy to manage. That being said, I don't recommend that you fill them top-to-bottom with books because that will get heavy very quickly. They were delivered very securely, making every box useable. Recommended if you are moving house.

When these boxes first arrived I groaned at the size, as they were much smaller than the banker boxes I had ordered before for packing up the house. HOWEVER, having used these all I can say is they are 5* packing boxes. The reality is with a larger box you can't fill it to the top with ornaments, books and toys because the box becomes too heavy. These on the other hand can be filled to the brim without becoming too heavy to handle and they are very strong and sturdy and easily put together with parcel tape. I have managed to pack a lot of my house (toys, ornaments, books) into 20 of these boxes and am happy enough with them that I have just re-ordered more. Highly recommended. They are the strongest boxes I have purchased and I've purchased a lot!

I am so pleased with these boxes. They are just the right size for moving. They are strong and can take quite a lot of stuff. I had looked at bigger boxes but quite honestly they would have been too heavy to lift if fully filled. I think it is better to have a few more medium sized boxes and save the removal people getting bad backs!Delivery was super fast and they were well packaged. They came with some bubble wrap and a role of packing tape.

I spent quite some time researching packing boxes on-line and found these to be the best value for money! They arrived on time and for the majority in good condition - but a couple were damp from the rain during transit but it did not affect their strength jut a bit warped in places.I would highly recommend these to friends as they are the perfect size for a one bed move and not too heavy to carry! Perfect for books, cds and kitchen stuff.

These boxes are a really useful size, sturdy enough, fits every day items without the risk of overfilling making them too heavy to lift.Delivery was well within stated delivery estimate, two days to arrive , quality tape, pen and bubble wrap included.I felt they were great value.

Sturdy, much stronger than the single wall ones of the same size which I bought from elsewhere.The 18x12x12" is just the right size to pack full of books and still be liftable.Arrived well wrapped and in perfect condition.Will happily buy more if I need some.

The idea of getting boxes, tape and bubble wrap as a job lot was a good one. Certainly the cardboard boxes are substantial and seem to be well made (not sure what 'Sheerness' is supposed to be a measure of!).However, as a former employee of the Sealed Air Corporation (SAC), the inventors and manufacturers of the original Bubblewrap, the bubble wrap is a disappointment and clearly not an SAC product. The bubbles just do not have enough air sealed into them. The product will be acceptable for the job I have in mind but I wouldn't want to use it to protect anything that was particularly delicate that was being shipped by post/courier. AND...It would certainly be unsatisfactory to use as a 'stress sheet'.

These boxes are just right for packing most things especially when the contents are wrapped in the included bubble wrap or something similar to stop the items moving about. It is wise not to overload the boxes. They have grooves around the sides so they can be folded lower than standard. A good idea.The overall package is made up of the boxes and a roll of bubble wrap plus a roll of 'fragile' sticky tape and a marker pen..For the money it is very good value. Jc.
