Hape Wooden Mini Airplane| Wooden Educational Learning Toys for Toddler Gift

I bought this looking for a gender-neutral first vehicle toy for our 10-month-old daughter. After much searching online, I discovered that many vehicle toys have small parts that are not appropriate for her age. This toy (and the red car by the same brand) are perfect for her little hands to hold. She loves to spin the wheels and you can see her trying to figure out which way is right-side-up to roll. Bonus points: the vehicle is attractive and made of wood (not plastic!). I did not have the issue some reviewers noted with the paint coming off. I suspect this will be a toy that remains out and in constant use for many years of open-ended play to come.

This is a fantastic wooden airplane! I got this for my son when he was 8 months old, and 4 months later he is still playing with it and having fun. He loves to spin the wheels and roll it around the house. The wings are fun because they are attached by some elastic so they can bend a bit up and down but always go back in place. He also likes to mouth it, which isn't a problem because it is solid wood. The colors are vibrant and the toy is engaging. It really allows for open ended play. He can use all his senses to explore it and play with it. Even our friends with older children really enjoy this as well as the helicopter and dump truck, both made by Hape. It is of course the high quality we have come to expect from Hape. We couldn't be happier. His favorite between the Dump Truck, Helicopter, and Airplane, is the Helicopter. I love having the three and he enjoys each of them.

This is one of my favorite baby/toddler toys I have bought from Amazon! I bought this for my son, and have also bought it for a friend. When my son was a couple of months old, he loved biting on the wings that snap up and down. Now, he uses the airplane on our hardwood floors and down ramps to race with his cars. We love that there is no plastic included, and the durability has withstood my son for over the past year. I will continue buying as gifts and for ourselves if ours ever gives up.

Great wooden toy! My son is 18 months and had this for a year he plays with it frequently and very hard too. It has been thrown, tossed, tumbled down stairs, fallen out of grocery carts and cr windows. It has done well. The paint has a few nicks where it took a few hard hits, but it has never started to peel or flake. I honestly didn't expect it to perform so well - we have been pleasantly surprised always a great feeling as a consumer!

Brought back to my childhood, first reason why i bought it. Whoever designed this toys had the perfect idea of what a toy for toddlers should be. Everything deserves more than 5 stars, functionality, attractiveness, craftsmanship, .plain and simple. Thanks.

I bought this for an 11-month-old and while they were momentarily intrigued with the wheels, they find tossing it over the baby gate to be the most fun! Surprisingly, a 3-year-old absolutely adored it and played with it the whole time he was visiting. It's well-made with beautiful, simple colors and easy to grasp and use for any age.

Great little plane. I bought one for my baby, and he liked it so much that I bought one for a friend who is expecting a little boy. Really well made, simple, and just plane cute. (See what I did there?)

We Love little Hape wooden vehicles! My son enjoyed them as a toddler and still plays with them from time to time and he is 4 1/2. They are now my go to for toddler gifts.Durable, safe, all around good value
