The material is not very flexible
I decided to go with Roka because of their good marketing. The idea that their material is Chlorine-resistant and pill-resistant was a key point for me, since this is my major issue with the Nike swimsuits I have been using. In less than one year they fall apart because of the chlorine. Pros: Came well packed, with a return label, making it easy to return. Well made. Cons: The material is not very flexible. The first time I put it on, it was very tight and I heard crackling noises, like the material was being ripped apart. OK, I am not not even close to look like an Olympic swimmer (body wise). My BMI is 26, I am 5'9", 176lbs, 32" waist. Yes, I got some fat. Not comfortable. Because the material is not very flexible, it feels tight everywhere. I used it 3x for 3000 yards swims and every single time I ended up with deep marks where the elastic touched. I returned it more than a week ago and I have not heard anything about it yet. No refund, no updates. Conclusion: Perhaps if you don't have any fat in your body, this will be a great swimsuit, but if you do, look for a product that the material is more flexible, comfort is a must.
