Great little product for the money.
Great product. Easy to use. Had a go when it turned up and made a vase and 3 candle holders within probably 30 minutes. The video on the product description is surprising helpful and accurate. So far the parts of the bottles that I want to keep have been good but the top half has tended to have stress fractures but that may just be lack of practice. Cuts Gin and Rum bottles great with little worries and cuts beer bottles much quicker. Great little product and can be packed away into a little box. Only slight improvement would be a stronger back brace for the bottles to be pinned back to but this doesn't seam to be much of a problem at the moment.

Takes some practice but worth it
It's a good bottle cutter but takes some practice - heck, they all do. Don't expect miracles. I would recommend buying sand paper as you are very unlikely to get a clean cut with any glass cutter. Its nice that you can configure it however you need, the fixed ones (that go around a bottle) do a better cut but they can't cut everything. The extras i.e. the hand cutter are completely useless.

best bottle cutter kit!!!
soo easy to use, comes with all the pieces you'll need to get going - scoring station, with adjustable/removable stabiliser with attachment for bottlenecks, instructions, rubber o-rings, bottle cleaner, gloves, sandpaper, AND even a handheld scorer!! wasn't expecting this to be so comprehensive for the price but very happy with my purchase (although i would recommend ordering a larger variety pack of sandpaper). pic of my upcycled drinking glasses for posterity :D

Cutter works ok, water method for separation is useless
The cutter itself is great, I'm really impressed with how easily it can be assembled and adjusted. What really needs to be addressed is the method suggested for splitting the glass - It simply doesn't work! I have found a method which does work though - I'll get to that..... So, the water method suggested with the kit is to use hot and cold water to crack the glass along the score line. Rubber bands are supplied to direct the water to the score line as any deviation from that area will cause the glass to crack outside the line. Obviously this is practically impossible to do. I've tried almost 30 bottles and all of them failed. Yesterday I discovered a soldering iron method (search online). After scoring the bottle gently follow the line with a soldering iron until a small crack appears, then move the iron along the line very slowly and the crack will follow. So far 5 bottles done in an afternoon, no failures! Clear glass cracks very easily. Brown/green glass takes longer to start but moves very fast when it gets going (be careful!). Blue glass is a nightmare, it took me almost an hour to do one small blue bottle, it seems to be extra tough. Great product, terrible instructions

Easy to use and perfect results.
I bought this product to make my old champagne bottles into candles/tea light holders and was not disappointed. It is so easy to use. I used some old wine bottles to practice on first but felt confident enough after the first go to try a champagne bottle (another success) by my third bottle I felt confident enough to use it on our engagement bottle which I had kept for over 10 years and the result was perfect. If you are after something that does the same then I thoroughly recommend this product.

Simple but effective
Simple and easy to use. Takes some. Practice to get clean cuts. The rubber rings supplied are not great as had 2 break when hot water applied but nothing a trip to the DIY shop couldn't solve

Interesting Product
I always wanted to get this product because I like some of my lovely drinks bottles and I can finally change them into vases. The only thing is it didn't work for my square bottles, so if anyone wanna cut some square water bottles this product is not the right one.

Very happy with use & finish
Cut bottoms off our gun bottles very easily as per instructions & fairly easy to use. We cut bottoms off 5 Whitley Neil gin bottles which were fairly thick to make our lights & very pleased. Will need to sand down once cut to ensure smooth but easy enough. Glad we bought & will use again to create other lights, candle holders & vases from a variety of bottles.

Good quality and performs as advertised on Amazon. Used it to cut few bottles and it was seamless. The settings are easy, process is simple, just need to figure the right amount if pressure to put while rotating the bottle. Can accommodate most of the sizes of bottles. To be frank, the cutting of bottles by this instrument is simple and works as promised. The breaking of the bottle after the cutting is the challenging part. To that part, this tool is excellent ! A mix of good accessories in the box

I've never cut a glass bottle in my life. Frankly for the low price of this kit I was skeptical that it would work. I was wrong. It is so easy. In fact I never even got to pour the cold water on because the bottle separated from just pouring the hot water on. The cut was clean and even. The sandpaper supplied took care of the rough or sharp edges and it was absolutely perfect. The second bottle I cut was cheap and the glass was thicker in some places than others but this system worked perfectly anyway. For what I paid ($29) I can't say enough good things about this. And it included a hand held glass cutter, spare cutter head, gloves and rubber rings. Very impressed for the price. If you want to cut some bottles but don't want to spend a ton of money get this. It's well worth the $29. I'd buy it again and recommend it to anyone else.

21 essais et toutes les bouteilles sont coupées à moitié. Les bords sont cassés et aucun trait n’est droit. La lame n’est pas assez saillante Bref à fuir

I used this to make vases out of wine bottles. Just follow the directions. It’s super important to use both hot and cold water.
