I bought this laptop for college and also used it for games for about a year and a half. I think this is typical with these types of Asus laptops, but it does not cool itself down very well.It's a decently heavy laptop for carrying around campus. For games, it works okay if you run most things at very low settings. For school, it works pretty good, its gotten me through the basics and my intro CS classes.I regret buying it now because I could've gotten something better for the price point I bought it at, but it is what it is.

My techie son recommended this specific laptop because of AMD Ryzen, value, and lighted keyboard. I do not have the touch screen as I think he said it uses up a lot of memory and if I don't need it, don't get it. Very happy with this laptop. He said some of the newer ones out there are using older technology and will not perform as well as this one.

I've had this laptop a total of two months. The only thing I don't like is if I pause a video and am away from it for too long, sometimes when I come back and hit play, I can hear the video but the timer isn't running and the screen is white. After 30-45 seconds it finally fixes itself. I also have a pair of wireless Cowin headphones and if I pause a video for too long then come back, it won't play at all it just shows the loading screen. So my patience wears thin and I just restart the computer. It definitely gets annoying.Another issue (even though I haven't really come across this yet) is I bought a Pantem printer for this computer. The only way I could hook the printer to the computer was to take it out of S mode. I don't know too much about computers, but I do know that once you take it out you can't put it back in. I desperately needed the printer for school so unfortunately I had to take the computer out if S mode. Everything is fine so far.Besides all the minor issues, I personally have no problems with it. My college classes are running smoothly and I hope this computer lasts me for the next few years if not longer.

Great value laptop. Got the Ryzen 3 for longer battery life since this lovely gem won't be gaming. Great for parents and grandparents. Thin, light, well built and nice and snappy. Space for upgrade too.Never had a problem with asus products except when I tried to flash the bios and bricked a laptop. Took the innards and slapped it into a great mini pc. Lesson learned, don't try to update the bios.

Horrible, laptop is not charging the battery

Ok so far. Only hours old. Issues. Came with Win10 S mode. Clearly says its home edition online. Amazon tech clueless. While they said its the wrong item you can go into the setting, scroll to "about" and activate Win10 and turn off S Mode. I did it and it flipped it to Win10 Home. After rebooting twice already its still in Win10 Home not S Mode. For those who run into this..

very light, nice laptop. not sure what a few people are talking about when they say it gets hot! I bought along with this computer a cooling pad to put it on and have not used it yet! Great, fast, light laptop.

Great laptop. Amazing specs for the price, love ASUS computers and this one is simpley great. Bought for my daughter to be able to continue her school from home and it has worked great for her. Great option for the entire family. Good size and weight.
