This product is absolutely amazing. It took about 10 days (maybe less) and my dog stopped the excessive shedding. It even stopped her itching from dry skin. I have a 50 lbs German Shepherd mix who lost fur all over the house and now I have doghair but no more snowballs of hair. I would absolutely recommend this product

About a year ago, when I brought my lab/mastiff mix home as a puppy, she shed like crazy. Everyone kept saying "oh, it's just her puppy coat, she will grow out of it"....well it took me about 8 months and a summer to realize, that I would go crazy vacuuming twice a day for the rest of her life. The thought had even occurred to me to make her an "outside" dog, but I didn't get a dog to not have her included in my family, and I had thought about shaving her lol....wouldn't really want to do that either....but I knew we couldn't continue with all that hair!!! Brushing everyday didn't seem to help. Tons came out in the brush but just as much was on my floor as before..... I started searching the internet........ I found all of these reviews for different products and read a TON of them. This product looked like it had more reviews saying that the product actually worked, so I decided to try it. Taste wasn't an issue, my dog eats anything, but it is very oily. It has fish and sardine oils so of course it is oily. I am guessing a pill form wouldn't work as well? At any rate, after 3-4 weeks I noticed a difference. It reduced her shedding by maybe 50%, which was still a blessing....then after a couple of months I noticed a little more improvement. I could vaccuum once every other day. (you have to understand that I vaccuum ALOT anyway) Then as we were going through winter, I ran out and thought that now since she was over a year old and wasn't shedding as much....maybe just maybe it was her puppy coat and now it wouldn't be bad, so I did not order more....boy was I in for a shock! It took her about 2 weeks and she was in full shed mode again.....hair would fly off of her if you just petted her. I kept telling my family that we couldn't pet her in the house, we had to brush her... how crazy is that?! I immediately ordered more and she has been on it for a month AGAIN and I see improvement. Hope they don't stop making this stuff!!! I also wanted to point out that her coat and skin are gorgeous! I feed her a high quality food and just wanted to say that even though she should be getting everything nutritionally that she needs, this stuff is just that little extra supplement that actually does what it says.

excellent product, in 2 weeks decreased hair loss

This product is great and works as advertised it seems. Our dog still sheds, but it is only a quarter of what she would shed previously. She loves the taste of it too mixed in with her food. I have also noticed her coat looks much more filled and shinier. Only downside is that the bottle does leak and you need to keep something under it to prevent oil from spreading to other places. We just use a paper towel and swap it when it gets too absorbed. I hope one day the bottle or bottle cap is improved to prevent this leakage issue. Overall a great product that keeps our dog healthy, prevents shedding, and tastes good to her.

I bought this when my hubby bought our lab/pit rescue home in March 2020 now we already had 2 yorkies(they don't shed) within 2 days I was like OMG no way so I started looking they had this on sale(I guess changing the label or something) so I bought several like 8 bottles 2 diggerent times well this is miracle in a bottle went from vacumning 2 times a day to every other and now I'm out and it's $21 a bottle but I gotta suck it up cause believe me it works I started her gradually and she been getting it every morning for over 5 yrs now not alit just a squirter in her food(she's 60 lbs) and yes it lasts a while don't take much I don't over medicate just enough to slow that shedding so I adjusted as needed she's shiny black coat and healthy (only 30 lbs when he found her IT WORKS!!!

Um... Someone possibly needs a bit more training on how to prevent leaking bottles... The product itself is okay, although my coydog still sheds like crazy all year long.

I have a pug that sheds like crazy. I have only been giving thus to hime for about a week and a half but my neighbor has a pug and recommend this product to me. He said not only did it help with the shedding but his skin health as well. My pug doesn't notice a difference in taste and its it fine.

My girl is an 85lb pit/lab mix that believes her goal in life is to shed 24/7/365. That being said, we’ve gone through many trials and fails searching for a supplement that would at least help a little since rescuing her almost 3 years ago. As for the flavor: I can report she absolutely loved the taste of this product mixed in with her food and would even lick the bowl clean. As for the effect: After using as directed for 2.5 weeks I did NOT see any difference in shedding at all. Disclaimer: This product was only used for 2.5 weeks due to my girl experiencing extreme diarrhea with occasional vomiting. And when I say “extreme”, I’m referring to EXTREME EXPLOSIVE diarrhea that she couldn’t always control. The first few days using this product, she was completely fine. Starting around maybe day 4 is when the explosions began along with a little vomiting here and there. At first I thought it was my leftover Chinese food that my boyfriend snuck her behind my back. He didn’t realize my dish was spicy and let her polish off about half of my meal. Naturally my girl’s symptoms made sense at the time, so I switched out her regular dog food with rice and plain chicken and continued adding this supplement to her food. After 2 days on the new diet, her vomiting stopped, but she was still having diarrhea- just not explosive anymore, so I stopped the chicken, increased the rice a little and decreased the supplement a tad. After a few more days on this diet and no improvement it finally dawned on me that maybe it was the supplement. I immediately stopped use and within 24 hours her diarrhea started changing to loose stool, then soft stool the next day and back to her normal dinosaur solid craps 2 days later. She has never had any reactions to prior supplements we’ve tried for shedding in the past, so it didn’t cross my mind that she was having a bad reaction to this one, and the timing of the forbidden spicy Chinese food consumption made sense at the time. I just feel awful that I put her through that for so long by continuing use.
