Works great if you know the tricks.
The bad first. As many complain here getting the bottles inside the bag between the towels is—difficult. The good: here’s an easy trick Pull the absorbent material out completely. (Gently don’t rip the plastic flaps that hold it inside. Now slide the material back inside just 4-6 inches(10-15 centimetres). Place the bottle between the two sides of the material and gently slide the entirety into the plastic bag. Gently reach inside and tuck the material into the folds for large bottles, or fold it over the top and use a piece of tape to fully wrap smaller bottles. The test? I haven’t flown with them yet. But the material does what it says. To a degree. I poured a stale sun trashed litre of liquor 45%/90 prf into the bag, followed by a few shots (ounces) of junk perfume, and waited. Figuring that’s what most people would be putting in the bags. After about an hour I poured out the liquid into a measuring cup. About 150 ml were left in the bag. The rest well soaked up. So 750 bottles are probably the wise limit. Also, push the air out of the bag before you close the zipper. The material really expands. Don’t want those few ml that are loose to drain out if the bag pops from lack of room. Over all looks to be a good product. I’ll come back and edit this if a bottle (sadly) breaks in flight to let you know how a real world happening goes.

A must for bringing liquids while traveling
These were a huge help for bringing back olive oil and limoncello from Italy. Easy to use, perfect for travel, durable, and worth the price.

Must have for traveling with wine
My husband and I flew out of the country and were advised to bring our own wine to save money. These insulated travel wine bags were perfect for stowing wine in our checked bags. All of our wine was protected and we had zero broken bottles when we arrived at our destination. I cannot speak to how absorbent they are if a wine bottle does break, but I felt confident with the packaging that our clothes would be fine if any did break. Highly recommend!

Always pack a few in my bag
Cheap, effective and reusable. I never know when I'll find a nice bottle of something on vacation so I always toss a few into my suitcase. You know how airlines treat bags. This is cheap insurance.

Like a diaper for your booze
These bags are like diapers for your alcohol. 750ml whiskey bottles fit fine. They sealed well and my bottles made it safely in my checked suitcase. The padding is the same material as a diaper. It looks absorbent, but isn’t the thickest and shifts around fairly easily when putting a bottle in the bag. Bubble wrap would provide better protection, but wouldn’t be as protective if something breaks. Overall, this is a good product. They last and can be used multiple times.

no leaks
I travel often and have to take prescription mouthwash. The lid was suspicious so I purchased this bag and placed the bottle in it; all the liquid that came out was absorbed by the lining of the bag; the rest of my bag contents were safe and dry.

Great for transporting wine internationally
I've never had one of these come open in transit, and all of the wine bottles I've transported with them in checked luggage have come through intact.
