Soft and pretty!

As others have said, the fabric is similar to a bed sheet. These have a distinctly shiny sheen, which improved somewhat after washing. My biggest negative is that the edges are too soft and floppy to ever stand up as shown in the (faked) picture. I ordered the medium blue. What I received is much closer to a soft navy than to the color advertised, even though it's marked medium blue on the package. The shams shrank from 24" x 33.5" to 23 1/8" x 31.5" after washing according to directions.The fabric has a soft feel and does seem like 100% -- it wrinkles and irons like cotton. It is an affordable price for a pillow sham. If you're willing to take it apart and put in the missing edge stiffening, it could be a nice sham.Given that the photo of stiff edges is blatantly misleading and the color is not as shown, I would not recommend.

These pillow covers are made in India and they are extremely soft. I chose the color Teal and it is rather cooling to the room. It is such a pretty color that I paired it with burgundy in the bedroom and it worked. See what you think.
