As the hair on top thins out, the heart starts to not pump quite as fast as it used to and with my wife complaining of the heat (Yes, even in Scotland!) I found that I had to find a solution to keep my head warm at night. The duvets are always too short to keep your feet and head warm at the same time and I'm no giant, well height-wise anyway! These hats are invaluable; they don't make me look like an A-listed filmstar, but at my age - who cares? They are simply great. Pull em down right over your face and shut the world out until morning. I may even start wearing one during the day just to upset her??? Wash really well and in neutral colours. On the down side my son is no longer speaking with me now I've apparantly become 'trendy'

I lost all my hair during chemo, I have bought so many hats and scarves, never felt comfortable in any of them and was started to feel deflated, I came across these! I were them the whole day! They don’t itch or rub and so light weight that you don’t notice them after a while 😊 I’ve even worn them on the hottest day of the year. I highly recommend these

I really like these slouchie beanies, so much more flattering than the tight ones. They cover the head well when you've lost your hair to chemotherapy and even look quite stylish. The grey-mix one is especially attractive.

Honestly I found these very frustrating. I got the 2 colour double pack hat- scarf model. They feel and look very bulky on the head, not thin, and they do not slouch in the manner I was hoping for. Instead they feel massive on my head with a massive wad in the back and puffy sides. They are creatively sewn so that the inner and outer layer don't have their seams in the same place. This avoids a super large seam bulge... instead you have two seams that are offset, increasing the wad. I have a small head for an adult. When I pulled these all the way over my ears or even folded up the brim, the wind still roared past my ears as if I wasn't wearing anything. My problem is cold air entering my ear canals and causing severe pain. I don't think this knit will prevent that, even with the double layer, which is exasperating given the waddage. But obviously hats are a very personal thing, and it seems plenty of people like these. So think about what you want. These are too thick and stiff to drape down on your head. The style I got is not lined with a liner that helps with warmth, it's just two single layer hats sewn together. Not suitable for winter gear, and definitely not my idea of a skullcap. The twisted design makes pulling it down to your neck very hard, and once there it acts like a stiff scarf with a big air gap between the material and your neck which you can't really close up. It does not collapse around the base of your neck like a normal scarf would do. I machine washed cold and air dried and they came out fine and lost their original smell of sizing, so you should definitely wash first if you have sensitive skin. I can see how these would stretch out a lot with use, due to the material used. In conclusion, there's nothing wrong with the hat or how it's made...I just didn't like the style at all. It was bulky, stiff, and had no elasticity. It also gives no real wind protection of the kind I need so I'm going back to my old hat. This was my experience, perhaps you'll think these are great. Great purchase. A set of two hat/snood/hairband items, makes 6 styles to sport! Very nice feel of the fabric, soft and elastic. Obviously, not for winter but perfect for windy cool days! Exactly what I was looking for)

I only gave this a 4 becuase I'm very picky about head coverings. Mainly because I do not like hats etc., they give me a headache and it is for different reasons.This "slouch beanie" is comfortable and cosy but the "stretch" factor is just a little too tight, for me!!!I must EMPHASISE, I LIKE this and wear it everyday now, it's just a little tight around my head so I find myself adjusting it for comfort after a couple of hours.

I have a ton of slouch hats but all thick and while great if outside, too warm for inside. These are perfect for whatever or those bad hair days, don't wanna wash hair days etc. Super soft. No tight elastics to crease skin or create hat hair. Defintely not a cold weather hat but it's just what I wanted.
