It is not a deep dive into theology, but sheds light on the lessons we can learn from the women covered in the study like Hannah and Ruth, and how we can apply it in our lives today. There is an accompanying video online. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Honestly, one of the most life transforming studies I've ever done! *by J***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 8, 2021* This is the best bible study I have ever done. I thought Barb Roose was inside my head (or home lol) bc everything in this book was made for me (or so it seems). God has blessed me abundantly through it. Every lesson in the book was excellent and I love how she shows from Scripture the principle that she is teaching. I loved it so much I gathered a group of women in my home who wanted to go thru it with me (my 2nd time). I have consistently gone back over lessons from the study guide to reinforce truths that she had drawn from God's Word and I know I will continue to do so. I praise God for leading me to this. I actually bought extra copies and have given them to people to read bc I know that it will bless their lives. No matter what study I do, I seem to come back to truths from this one repeatedly!! I sent my pastor 6-7 pictures of points that she makes or a whole page that was filled with writing that had changed me. I have had chronic health for 20+ years- I am 40- and it has given me a sense of internal peace I never thought I would have. My friends' lives were changed through this study also and I just can't stress enough to give it a try. I was talking to a friend the other day and used 3 examples with sculpture from this study - just during our 30 min conversation!! This is a book for the weary, tired, impatient, anxious, depressed and drained woman. My husband laughs bc I will always bring up topics from the book---lol.When I had the group study, I bought the video, which was very well done. So I love them both together!!Barb- if you ever read this please know how much you have blessed my life. I am now more patient with God, content to know that God has a plan, and so thankful to hear from someone else that I'm not the only one. Sincerely....Renee ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great reminder of God’s sovereignty *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on September 17, 2019* I’m Waiting God is a study into the difficult, but ultimately beautiful journey into learning about God’s timing. I loved that each week highlighted different women of the Bible, and whether I had ever studied their situations or not, it gave a unique perspective into their lives that I hadn’t explored before.I also loved that the study could be used however I wanted it to be used. It was only four week’s long, but each week could be as in depth into the topic as I needed it to be. There were a few days of “homework”—reading Scriptures and applying it to my life. But then there were a couple more days of *optional* homework that I actually think helped with the practicality of appplication.In the end, Barb did a great job reminding me of the blessings of waiting-gratitude, discipline, prayer.
