This light fixture would get 5 stars if I were able to change the tone of the light. However, it is working for my space.

great with a dimmer switch on the wall. my handiman made a box over the ugly doorbell box and covered it with Fasade bronze/copper backsplash (also on Amazon) to house it.

This light fixture looks great in the 2 small bedrooms (11ft x 11ft) I installed them in. They put out a suffcient amount of light for those rooms and the quality of light is soft, warm, and natural looking.The outer shell housing is made of metal. Stiff and lightweight. If you mask off the electronics, I don't see why you couldn't repaint it a different color if you were so inclined.The light cover is made of plastic. You simply twist it clockwise to lock it into place. Twist counter-clockwise to remove it. Simple enough.I rated this 4 stars because of some issues I had with the install. If you see in the pictures, the fixture had 2 sets of slots for the screws to go through. Which one you use is dependent on the size of the electrical box you're installing the fixture into. In my case, the hole spacing in my electrical box required me to use the inner most screw slots on the fixture. That shouldn't have been a problem, but I came across 2 issues:1) the heads of the provided hardware screws were too big to go into the slot opening. The idea of that you're supposed to first drive the screws into the electrical box mostly in and leaving a bit of them sticking out. Then raise the fixture housing, lining up the screw heads with the slot openings, push up, twist the housing, then drive the screws in the rest of the way to lock the fixture in place. I tried that only to realize the heads of the screws wouldn't fit into the cutouts of the housing. So had to undo all the wire connections so I could move the housing out of the way so I could remove the screws.2) so no big deal about issue #1, I'll just line up the housing with the screw holes (after making the wire connections) and then drive the screws in. But it wasn't as easy as it should have been. The problem I had was that the LED driver control box (big white circular box in the fixture) sits very close to those screw slots I needed to use. Additionally the wires coming out of the LED driver are also right next to those slots. It was a delicate operation trying to drive those screws in while they rubbed against the LED driver box and the thin delicate wires coming out of the box. Once in it was all good, but what a pain that was, especially since I'm working on something above my head.After it was all installed, though, the light looked great. Since I bought the 2 pack, lessons learned from the first install made the second install much faster. Hopefully it helps you too.Oh, and these are dimmable light fixtures, but I did not use dimmer switches so I cannot comment on the quality of the dimming feature. At full power, I didn't think these lights were over powering. They were just right.

Smaller then expected so I returned it.Some hard ware missing to but it was pretty.

Light looks fairly good… once we set it up. The brackets it came with didn’t work so we needed to do a little improvising. The light cover is a cheap piece of plastic but once it’s set up you won’t notice that.

These ceiling lights are perfect. They are flush to the ceiling which is great for my low basement. They are so bright but not harsh or cold. My space is more rustic/farmhouse & I was concerned that they would be too modern but they’re just amazing.
