I used this to cut down a metal broom handle. I wish I had gotten a larger cutter. I measured the handle before ordering this cutter. The handle was 22mm, as measured by a digital caliper. The problem is that it was nearly impossible to get this cutter onto the pipe. I suppose if you had normal pipe, you could slide this over the end to the point you want to cut. I was cutting the handle because it had gotten bent, and by shortening it, I could repurpose it for a different use. I was able to get this cutter to work but I would suggest it only for pipes/tubes of 20mm or less, despite the description. I deducted one star for the fact you cannot slide a 22mm pipe into it from the jaws. Now, suppose you were cutting an installed 22mm hard pipe. There is no way this would work.

Not much to say about a simple tool but it was cheap and cuts through brake pipe with ease so I'm very happy!
