A+, i tried some cheaper ones which leaked & kept wiggling loose, i ended up throwing them out. However this YJ works great, does not leak at valve or connection, or wiggle loose. I am not sure if they are low loss, I gotta be careful when connecting/disconnection to pull on it cuz it otherwise sprays more than expected than a low loss (would not expect a low loss to behave that way). This valve was a bit pricey but worth it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Works great, use it between my micron Guage and core tool for evacuation.

Worked as expected during mini split install

Have not used it yet, but expect it to work fine based on brand reputation. I needed a valve or hose that had valve core depressors on both ends. Most or all hoses come with this on one end only. I didn't find a hose, but found these types of adapters. However, the description does not mention this feature. Between digging through details on numerous products and other sites, and emailing Yellow Jacket support, I felt this item was what I needed. One of my photos shows the valve core depressor. Being able to close the valve may make the task easier also. Will update review if needed after use.

These shut off valves are the best for your manifold. Keeps you from loosing lots of refrigerant and saves your hands and fingers from frost bite. Exceptiona;l product. Wouldn’t work without them.
